"Ice cream is fine," Jessica said, a huge smile on her face. "I did read somewhere that you should eat dessert first then dinner. It helps keep your teeth clean." She added placing her bags over her shoulders and dangling her keys to find the right one.

"Awesome!" Bradley responded with a giddy smile. "I just have to grab a few things from my classroom" he said as he walked to the door. Bradley walked through the open door into his classroom. He opened his desk drawer and got some medication, and his phone charger. He took his laptop from the top of the desk and some files with students' assignments in them before heading out and locking his door. He went back outside the door of Jessica's classroom "I'm ready when you are"

Jessica nodded and watched him walk to his classroom. She walked to her own door and closed it behind her, locking the door, careful not to break the key in it, and waited for him to return. "Hopefully if they couldn't fix the door tonight there wasn't anything you really needed in there." She said with a small smile.

"Well I mean there wasn't anything crucial...but there were some things of mild importance...y'know" he trailed off and stopped before rambling too much. He looked down at the floor.

"Well that's good. I would hate to be locked out if there was something important in there." Jessica said noticing him look at the floor. "So this ice cream. Is it the best in the world?" She asked him.

"Its definitely high on my list of favorites." He said "Its within walking distance, but its pretty humid out right now and I'd rather drive, personally. If you want we can go in my car and I'll drive you back to the school afterwards..."

Jessica thought this over for a bit "I don't don't mind hitching a ride with you," She said. "As long as the ice cream is as good as you say it is." She added quickly as she began walking down the hall to the teachers parking lot.

"Well I hope it lives up to those standards" he said, trailing close behind her. He got to his car and unlocked it with the button on his keyring before opening the passenger door to let Jessica in. He held the door open.

"Thank you," Jessica said to him as she slipped in careful of her skirt, into the passenger seat. "So whats the name of the place?" She asked.

"The Penny Ice Creamery" he said as he got into the car and closed the door. He pulled the handicap parking tag from his mirror and tossed it in the glove compartment. "They make the ice cream from scratch. Its amazing"

"Hmm, never heard of it," Jessica said nodding her head. "Cute name," She added. She watched him remove the handicap parking tag and toss it away, she was once again curious but knew he would probably be embarrassed about it. "Sounds delicious." she added, thinking she had never tried fresh homemade ice cream from scratch.

"Delicious is an understatement" he said as he turned the key in the ignition. "And the owners are really cool people" He looked into the mirror and carefully backed out of the parking spot.

"Oh really now," Jessica said raising an eyebrow. "Well then it better be as good as it sounds now. You keep raising my expectations." She added with a small giggle.

"See now you're making me nervous" he joked. He coughed a little and took in a deep breath.

Jessica laughed "I'm sorry, I am joking you know," she said turning to look out the window. "I am pretty sure it will be amazing ice cream.

"I'm not sure I've heard of bad ice cream though...its kinda like pizza" he said "I mean, have you ever had a bad pizza? Normally its just goo by default. Really hard to mess up a pizza."

"I have actually had bad pizza," Jessica said trying hard not to smile. "I am picky about my tomato sauce, so I hate pizza with chunks of tomatoes" She added quickly. "It's hard to mess up eggs too, but they can be rubbery." She added smiling.

"What kind of heathens make chunky tomato sauce?" he asked incredulously as he turned into the parking lot of The Penny Ice Creamery.

"I know right!" Jessica said with a huge smile on her face. She shook her face. "I have never meet anyone else who didn't think it was an abomination." She said as she looked at the building of the Ice Creamery.

Bradley laughed as he pulled into the handicap spot and put the car in park. He pulled the tag back out of his glove compartment again and put it on the mirror. He pulled his keys out of the ignition, got out of the car and walked to the other side to hold the door for Jessica again. "Prepare to have your expectations surpassed"
