"Yyyyes!" he said as he selected the Mightyena from his party and hit trade. "If this goes right, I'm gonna have...." he waited for the trade to complete
"Yes! Oh my gosh! I have all 718 pokemon!" He laughed and spun around in his chair "I can't believe it! I have been working on this since the release date!"

"In case you have not guessed, I am a bit of a perfectionist." he said meekly and laughed. He meticulously saved the game 6 times before holding out his DS to show his complete pokedex.

"I am sure you can do it. You just need the time and whatever." he said as he went back to his Economics work. "You also have to get pissed at the Wonder Trade at least a thousand times." he added.

Christian laughed and started playing, laying back on his bed. "Thank you for the tips my wise Pokemon sensie, I will double my efforts in order to obtain every Pokemon that I can."

Emanuel gave Christian a confused look and laughed. He looked at his computer screen for a few minutes "Ugh. Three page essay" he mumbled before standing up to go wash his hands.

"That sucks. What does your topic have to be?" he asked, glancing over at him but then concentrated back on his game. "I just had to write a five page persuasive essay about the conservation of endangered species."

"I have to write about the recent economic reform in Mozambique and how their economy compares to that of the United States." he said, rolling up his sleeves. He talked over the faucet running. "There is also a list of terms that I have to use, of course." he ran his hands under the barely tolerable hot water. "It is due on Monday, but I don't think there is sense in procrastinating" he gritted his teeth and counted in his head the amount of seconds he scrubbed his hands. He turned off the water and dried his hands with a paper towel before walking back over to his desk.

"Thanks." Emanuel said and smiled. "I think I'm going to need it this time." he said as he stared at the essay rubric. "This is my first assignment in this class. I hope I get a good grade." he rambled.

"Thanks" Emanuel said and rhythmically tapped his knuckles against the edge of the wooden desk. "Just have to give a good impression ." he hit the desk a few more times to 'undo' the possibility of Christian jinxing him by saying he's going to do well.

"Ugh. Fuck it. I can't focus right now" he said abruptly, one page into the paper. "Where can I go to get some decent coffee?" he asked and brought his hands to his face.

Christian stood and put down his DS. "I'll go with you, I don't want to lose my roommate." he reached over and pulled on his brown jacket, making sure he had his wallet.

"Thanks." he said and closed his laptop. "I would probably end up on the other side of California otherwise." he joked as he grabbed his wallet and secured it in his back pocket.
