"Oh um....nevermind" he muttered, his face flushing. "And uh, yeah that would be a good idea." he added.
He stood up straight and looked around. The room looked significantly better than it was earlier.

He looked around and grinned, "I think you're gonna be a good influence on me, I've never had a room so clean before." he scratched the top of his head, "Or so organized. I usually have to dig through stacks of papers until I can find whatever I need."

"I'm happy to help" Emanuel said as he glanced out the window. So far this is a lot better than public school he thought, reflecting on the past few months of his life. Maybe America isn't that bad
He turned back around to face Christian. "So what do you do when you are not in class?"

"I usually go out to the pool and practice my swim techniques, but when I'm not doing that. Which is rare. I like to go out on walks and read. How about you?" he asked, flopping down on his bed.

"I usually do a lot of clubs and activities. Model UN, Debate, stuff like that." He said. "I'm not a very exciting person" he added and laughed nervously. He spun his desk chair around and sat on the very edge of it. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed one of those annoying spiral bound notebook scraps that happen when you pull out a page. He jumped up and grabbed it off the ground and threw it in the wastebin before sitting back down.

Christian laid on his side on his bed and watched him. "I think that's pretty cool, it's nice to get involved in different activities all the time....you really don't like any kind of mess, do you?" he asked curiously.

"Yeah I don't think I'd know what to do if there weren't clubs and stuff" he paused"No; mess uh...stresses me out a lot. I can't think straight if things are cluttered." he said, his voice wavering a little.

He nodded curiously, "Do you have OCD? It's okay if you do...I hope that wasn't a rude question." he furrowed his brow and looked down.

Christian sat up and shook his head, "I won't tell anyone, it isn't my secret to tell. Besides, who cares if you have OCD? It makes you who you are."

He nodded thoughtfully, "Well, it's just something you have to live with and become stronger with. It's something that made you who you are, which isn't a bad person."
