Pharo had just finished moving his boxes of belongings into the room that would serve as his home for the rest of the school year. He wasn't sure how he was going to handle sharing a room with a complete stranger, though he hoped it wouldn't be too hard considering that he had use to share a room with his brothers back home. He looked at the five card board boxes that contained his clothes and some items he didn't think he could live without, such as CD's and comic books along with school supplies. He scratched the top of his head, starting to wonder when his roommate would show up, he hadn't seen him at all since the moving process had begun, which left him a little lost as to where to put all of his things. He sighed softly and decided to move his clothes into his closet.

Ricky was about to open the door abruptly, but he stopped himself, remembering that his new roomate was moving in that day and he didn't want to scare anyone. He knocked on the doorframe twice before slowly opening the door. "Hey" he called out, in hopes that his new roomate would present himself.

Phara looked at the doorway when he heard someone call out to him and decided that the voice must have belonged to his roommate. He looked at Ricky and half smiled. "Hello."

"So I finally get a face to put to the name....which is uh...." he thought for a moment "Pharo, right? The RA told me earlier in the week that you'd be here"
He extended his hand forward to Pharo for a handshake

He nodded, "Yeah, I'm Pharo." He reached out and shook Ricky's hand. "I would have been sooner, but there was a little delay back home with getting here. None of my siblings quite wanted me to leave." He chuckled softly.

"No worries, man. I'm glad you made it." He smiled. "I don't have much of a set up here, so when you're ready to unpack, anywhere that isn't my desk or bed is fair game." he said. "Were you given a campus map when you enrolled here?"

"Well I have one tacked up over there by the window" he said "Its from when I first moved in, and I know my way around. So if you want to take it down, you can keep it." he sat on the edge of his own bed "And if you want a tour of the place, Let me know"

Phara half smiled at Ricky and nodded. "Thanks...what's this school like? Are people here mean and backstabbers or what?" he asked, hoping that his question made sense.

"Uh, well.... Its kinda mixed. There's a nasty blog out there, but there's also a positive one. It has its ups and downs like any hightschool, really. The drama is easy to avoid though, so there's that" Ricky said as he leaned back and tossed a coin up in the air. He caught it and looked at it.

"A blog?" He asked with a slight frown as he listened. He took a photo album that was rather large out of one of the boxes and set it on his nightstand by his bed.

"Yeah, they have a hot or not entry, which by the way said that I wasn't hot. That's completely inaccurate" he said "I wouldn't worry too much about it though"

Pharo rolled his eyes, but his curiosity made him want to check this blog out. He made a mental note to do just that later on. "Hot or not? Really? That sounds like something that should be done in like, junior high. Why did they say you weren't hot?" He asked. Though Pharo had a thing for girls, he noticed when a man was unattractive or not and he didn't see anything wrong with Ricky.

"My hair, and my stubble. The hair is for locks of love, but apparently it makes me look homeless? I don't care. I'm not cutting it until I have enough to donate; I don't care what I look like." he said, visibly irked with what the entry had to say. "The stubble is because I'm too lazy to shave most of the time. I only ever shave it when I'm out volunteering for stuff and I have to look good."

Pharo nodded and once he finished unpacking his things, folded the boxes and slid them under his bed. "Locks of love? That's cool, I wish I could do that, but if I tried to grow out my hair, I'd basically have an afro, and I don't look good with a 'fro." He said with a chuckle. "I don't see anything wrong with how you look, you look like a normal dude."

"Thats what I'm saying" he shrugged. "Its not abnormal for a guy to look a bit scrubby sometimes. In a way, its dude culture. They're just trying to get people riled up. I don't care. I'll let them have their kicks. I have better things to worry about."

"I would have joined football, but it's a little in the season, but if this school has rugby, I'll definitely join the team, other than that though I'm not too sure about whether I will join a club or anything." Pharo mused. "Do you do any clubs or anything?"
