"I'm sure the administration office has something that lists the clubs and activities. Or the school's website." Ricky said "I tend to get my information through word of mouth." he added.

"Thats how I'd do it" he said and stretched. "Its good to get involved, but there's no need to rush into things."
Ricky's phone buzzed in his pocket, and he pulled it out. It was from his dad. 
Ricky wasn't in the mood to deal with any of that nonsense, so he let the phone go to voicemail. 
"Have you had any classes yet?"

"That's good. I could imagine classes on the first day being a bit overwhelming" he said, remembering when he moved in and how much crap he had to lug into his dorm on the first day.

"Yeah, I'm from New York, so this is a few steps down in terms of population. I don't know how I'd manage in such a small town though, like, where everyone knows whats going on all the time." He said.

"That's just an outrage" he said and laughed. "I'd lose my mind if I were in that kind of an environment. You'd accidentally piss someone off or something and then you'd have no choice but to see them later. At least you can avoid people in the city."
