Pharo nodded. "I have no idea what else is offered here, I've never been much into school activities so I didn't really look into it."

"I'm sure the administration office has something that lists the clubs and activities. Or the school's website." Ricky said "I tend to get my information through word of mouth." he added.

Pharo nodded. "I'm not in a big rush to do anything, I'll probably just sit back and wait for an opportunity to present itself to me."

"Thats how I'd do it" he said and stretched. "Its good to get involved, but there's no need to rush into things." Ricky's phone buzzed in his pocket, and he pulled it out. It was from his dad. Ricky wasn't in the mood to deal with any of that nonsense, so he let the phone go to voicemail. "Have you had any classes yet?"

Pharo nodded and laid back on the bed, hearing the phone buzz and tilted his head towards Ricky. "Nope, I got a free pass to miss my classes today since I was moving in. The Principal here is really nice and understanding.

"That's good. I could imagine classes on the first day being a bit overwhelming" he said, remembering when he moved in and how much crap he had to lug into his dorm on the first day.

He nodded. "And the culture shock. Nothing back home is like this at all." He thought back to his family home and tight knit community. "My home town had just under six hundred people in it, so I'm more use to the small town atmosphere where everyone knows everyone...this place is...completely different."

"Yeah, I'm from New York, so this is a few steps down in terms of population. I don't know how I'd manage in such a small town though, like, where everyone knows whats going on all the time." He said.

"It get's annoying real fast sometimes, I'll tell you that much." Pharo said with a chuckle. "Half the time you can't get away with anything if you're trying to pull a prank or something."

"That's just an outrage" he said and laughed. "I'd lose my mind if I were in that kind of an environment. You'd accidentally piss someone off or something and then you'd have no choice but to see them later. At least you can avoid people in the city."

Pharo laughed and nodded. "It was certainly and interesting way to grow up. I think it just taught us to know better than to do something bad...but if we wanted to do something 'frowned upon' we would just go over to the city."
