Winnie slowly nodded her head, she understood being fragile, her parents verbally put it into her head she shouldn't be. So she felt like she wasn't, but she knew at times she was. "Rosco," She whispered his name, though she didn't look at him. She wasn't sure now why she said his name and suddenly had to think of something or look like an idiot. "I ... I don't regret it." She finally admitted.

Rosco looked at her when she said his name, almost afraid about what she was going to say. He could never tell what she was thinking, and it scared him. He was usually good at reading people, but Winnie was different. His eyes widened when she told him she didn't regret it. "Y-you don't?" He asked softly.

Winnie shook her head. It had taken her this long to realize she didn't regret it, she just regretted that she was drunk while do it. She decided to keep that to herself. "No I don't" She finally said, turning to face him as her entire face blushed and turned red. She knew he could see her face now, the moon was so big and bright it was shinning down pure light on both of them.

Rosco's gaze softened as he looked at Winnie. "Well...that's good, I don't regret it at all...truth is...I...I've wanted to kiss you since the day I met you." As soon as he blurted that out, his face turned bright red.

Winnie went back to that day weeks ago in the cafeteria when he came to her rescue, she hadn't wanted him to at that time, but now she was glad he did. "Really? The day we met," She asked making sure they were thinking of the same day.

Rosco looked down shyly and nodded. "I don't know why, but I really did want to kiss you then." He said softly.

Winnie wasn't sure when she wanted to kiss him since her drunk mind was the one that originally made her decide she did. "What now," She asked not sure what happened next. The last few boys she did kiss usually laughed her and said it was a joke and ran off with their friends.

Rosco scratched the back of his head, trying to think of what to do. "Well...we could go out on a real date sometime, maybe kiss again." He said with a light blush.

Winnie wrapped her arms around her tucked legs and hid her face in her knees. She wasn't sure that would be a good idea, things could go terribly wrong at least in her mind they did. But what would the harm be in one date? Was there any harm in another kiss? She couldn't decide right then and there what would be the best thing to do. She let the silence fall between them instead, past experiences taught her to not say anything when she was sure she would say something wrong.

When she didn't respond, Rosco felt his heart drop. What had he done wrong? He looked away from her and gazed back out the window, closing his eyes.

Winnie lifted her head and watched him for a few minutes. The moonlight shed a gorgeous light on him, she wanted to look at his eyes in the moonlight but didn't want him to stare at her.

Rosco slowly opened his eyes and stared into the court yard, wanting nothing more than to just run. He felt embarrassed when she hadn't responded to him, it burned in him and he wanted to run from it.

Winnie took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "This... Has never happened to me," She admitted. She wasn't sure how to proceed with such things. In her fanfiction she knew just how the character would, but in the real world she was completely lost.

"What do you mean?" He asked, slowly looking over at Winnie, his brow slightly furrowed.
