Lance only nodded, he didn't see that movie thank gooddess. He wasn't forced to watch that movie but he was sure one day a girl would make him. He nudged her back, smiling and laughing. "Nah. I'm tired but I won't fall asleep in the car." He was never known for falling asleep in the car, even as a kid.

"Sure. Sure." she waved her hand. She didn't really expect him to. It was a short drive and watching him now, he didn't seem that tired. Ellie got into her seat and buckled herself in, and started the car for the return trip home. "Thanks for going out with me," she told him. "It was nice. We'll have to do something you enjoy a bit more in the future though. Sorry if the movie was a bit of a dud." Not that she had much control over that. And this was all his idea. "Maybe when you're feeling better, or.." Maybe she was being too pushy. There were not many other people she could ask to hang out with comfortably.

Lance shrugged. "Not a dud, but definitely more of a chick flick." He commented with a chuckle. He slipped into the seat making sure he didn't hit his head and buckled up. "Yea it was fun and all." He said yawning again.maybe he would fall asleep but hopefully not. He listened to her and wondered what she was going to say. "And....?"

"Nothing," she said and put the car in drive. She just didn't have any idea where she was going with that. She just didn't want her time with Lance to be over when she took him home. She didn't want to wait for another day or two before she heard from her only friend at the school. Taking him home now and leaving him would just feel like.. that's it. She knew that she shouldn't act the way she was, but after being alone for so long it was like she wanted to be selfish. Ellie switched on the radio and turned it low so it wouldn't bother Lance too much. It was just a mix of music from the 80s to today.

Lance nodded, knowing there was something more than just nothing but decided not to push the subject. He leaned back in the seat and yawned again, hoping he wouldn't fall asleep in the car. He heard the radio turn on and wondered what song was playing. "You can turn it up you know. I love music." He said turning to face her. He knew everyone had rules in their car, music might be one of them for her.

Ellie looked at Lance with her eyebrow raised playfully. "I didn't want to wake you up," she teased. "I'd love to be the first person to ever witness you falling asleep in a car." But she turned up the music anyway, Don't Stop Believing blaring throughout the car. Had Ellie been alone, she most likely would have been there singing right along.

Lance laughed "Wont ever happen," He said as he started acting like he was playing the drums. "This song is a classic." He said wanting to sing but knowing his voice wasn't the best in the world and sounded like a dying bird.

"Yeah." Ellie replied happily. That was why she liked this station. It gave more than all of the rap and whatnot that people were listening too. There were still a lot of the current songs, but they were more tasteful. Something that Ellie could enjoy. "I'm very old fashioned with a lot of stuff," she admitted. "At least with music there are a lot of people there with me."
