"Shit, that's brutal" he said, shaking his head. "Though I was expelled from my old school for stopping someone from throwing a kid down a stairwell." he reflected, laughing at the situation.

"How do you get expelled for something like that?" She was baffled. The good guy would always get in trouble for something they were trying to avoid. And the person reaponsible was free to hurt more people. "That's a good thing."

"It was a Catholic school, and the kid I was defending is gay." he rolled his eyes "As if that's an excuse or something" he grumbled. "All I did was rip the dickhead's blazer. If he did what he was about to do to that kid, he would've killed him for sure. It was a concrete staircase." he shuddered.

Alice rolled her eyes. "How typical of a Catholic school. That explains everything." She despised anything religious. Alice would last one day at a Catholic school without getting expelled. "I would have done that as well." she told him. "We always get in trouble for doing the right thing. It's like the schools don't stop to think what would happen if we didn't interfere."

"At least I'm not living with that guilt of not doing anything." he shrugged. "Being expelled wasn't that big of a loss to me in comparison to that"

"No, and it wouldn't be to me either." said the girl who got attacked on a playground for refusing to leave. "Forcing you to stay at that school would be a million times worse. But at least it's better here, other than the whole gossip and people having sex everywhere thing."

"Well sex doesn't bother me" he said and after a few seconds he added "So long as its consensual....and safe"

"But that's all people here talk about." Alice shook her head. "It's like nothing else exists to them." She said. "They play it like a sport. I like sports where I win medals, not STDs. I don't care if they fuck each other, I don't think it's something appropiate to talk about in public."

"Yeah you're right" he said "There are some things that are alright to talk about in public, and some things just aren't. I can only hope that they learn how to act more appropriate once they're in the real world."

"Naw, they're fucked." Alice commented. "And not in the way they want to be." It was getting around lunch time and Alice was craving a cheeseburger with bacon and mayo. "The only thing I heard them talk about is the stupid dance."

"Well I wasn't much for optimism anyway." he said and laughed. "Dances are pretty stupid, but I have a thing with free food that I just can't get around. I mean, doritos....brownies and stuff. Even if it isn't free, its what? 25 cents for a baked good? You can't go wrong with that....Damn, I'm hungry."

"Oh free food is good. Free food is great. If the Broncos win the Super Bowl tomorrow, I get a free pizza." Those were two things she liked, free shit and food. "The dance is probably just gonna have a chocolate fountain with strawberries and pretzels. No doritos, no nachos, no meat..." except cheap lunchmeat circles maybe. She would go if Taco Bell catered. "After every bout, my team and I just stuff ourselves with food. We all go to a different restaurant each time and we all sit together and eat nonstop."

"Chocolate fountain? I think I might just camp out at the chocolate fountain. That sounds like a tremendous thing." Ricky smiled. "Eating nonstop is a beautiful thing" he mused.

"Then let's crash it." she smiled. "After my bout. Let's just walk in, screw the rules. Infact, I should invite my whole team to come." They'd be drinking from that fountain like a keg. "And we'll bring pizza for everyone as well." she snickered. "Wouldn't that be fun?"

"Speaking of food, if you want some, don't go to the cafeteria. Go into town." she advised him. "The food here is overpriced and made from cardboard. So, I always go out."

"That would be fun indeed" he said and laughed. "I suspected that the school food wasn't any good. I guess I'll have to take your word for it, then. Where do you usually go?"

"There's this cheap diner that has all the American classics, but at weekends, I get sushi at Yatzuba, Mexican at Qdoba or Italian at Olive Garden." she responded. "I know where all the food nearby is."

"Ooooohhhhh Qdobaaaaa" Ricky said "I am in a committed relationship with Qdoba. I swear it is the greatest thing on this earth. What other place just lets you grab a bottle of cholula hotsauce and go to town?"

"Any Mexican restaurant." she commented. "Or. if you're more adventurous, a burger bar." she smirked. "Red Coat Tavern is amazing at burgers but theres always a line and it's on the pricy side. Plus they have a dress code. But maybe there's a Bagger Daves or something like that close."

"A dress code? What a bummer." he said and raised an eyebrow. "Ugh lets stop talking about food, and just go get some food." he groaned. "I trust your judgement already and I barely know you."
