Winnie let out a sigh of relief when he left the room. She rummaged around in her clothes, wondering what she should wear to such a thing, she wasn't sure if this was a date or just acquaintances having lunch. She decided on a quick outfit, seeing as his wasn't too nice looking she guessed they wouldn't be going anywhere expensive. She opened the door to her room, running a hand through her hair to untangle it. "Ready." She said putting her purse over her shoulder. Her Outfit

((Cute))
Rosco looked over at her and smiled. "Alrighty, let's get crackin'." he went and opened the door of her dorm for her so they could leave.

Winnie took a deep breath and locked her door behind her. She turned back to Rosco and smoked gently though on the inside she was screaming.

Rosco walked out with her and closed the door then headed out of the residence hall, walking slow so she could keep up, knowing that he tended to walk faster than usual people.

Winnie was sure she could turn back at anytime. 'He would understand right?' She thought hoping she was brave enough to speak up. Instead she kept quiet until they reached the parking lot. She stopped walking and turned to him "are you driving?" She asked.

He nodded, "Sure, I got the keys to my rig." he walked over to a black Chevy Avalanche and unlocked it. He walked over to the passenger side and opened the door for her.

Winnie followed after Rosco, looking around her not really seeing a whole lot of kids there. She turned back to the car and was shocked to see him opening the door for her. She blushed, no guy besides her father had done that for her. She mumbled a quick thank you before climbing into the passenger side and buckling her seat belt. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly before he climbed in on the driver side.

Rosco gently closed the door then got in and drove off, relaxing back in his seat. "I hope you have fun, I don't want to throw you out of your comfort zone or anything."

"Well," Winnie said looking out the passenger side window. "Already outside my comfort zone." She said. Her comfort zone was very small to begin with, doing this was about twenty-five feet outside of it, at least she made herself think so.

He pursed his lips and nodded. "Well, I'll try to make this easy on you then. I know a great place that we can go. My cousin told me about this place and I figured we could check it out."

Winnie nodded slowly, wondering how easy it truly would be. "I promise I wont faint or have a seizure," She said smiling, she didn't have that kind of problem. She wasn't so antisocial it caused her to have real health issues. "I will eventually get over it." She said though she regretted saying that to him.

He rubbed his jaw, "You don't have to get over it, just grow with it. If you get uncomfortable just tell me and I'll take you back to your dorm." he looked at her seriously then looked back at the road.

"Why do you say that?" Winnie asked not sure on how to actually grow with it. "I mean, I'm not a plant, I can't just learn to grow without sunshine." She added feeling slightly frustrated. She leaned back in her seat trying hard not to loose control of her emotions like she did with her parents when never saw past anything but her failures.

Rosco looked ahead thoughtfully. "Well, it's always going to be with you so I suppose you can just roll with the punches and adjust yourself to certain situations so that you don't lose control of yourself."

Winnie continued to look out the window, not really wanting to continue this conversation. "Why didn't you invite your cousin?" She asked bluntly.

"Hannedy said she was busy with homework." he replied and soon pulled into the parking lot of a beach side restaurant that was small and cozy looking. He hopped out of his truck and walked to her side, opening her door.

Winnie nodded, noting his cousins name she looked around their surroundings, kind of liking the beach atmosphere. "So what kind of food?" She asked though she didn't care, she was never really picky.

"It's like a hamburger joint, but it also has sea food." he replied.

"Seafood hamburger," Winnie jokingly said wondering if that was a possible thing and what it would have. "Sounds yummy," she added jumping out of his truck.

Rosco chuckled softly and closed the door, walking into the restaurant with her. "We'll see what they have, there's crazy food in the world." they soon got sat at a booth that faced the ocean, their waitress looking at them with a kind smile, thinking that they were a couple going out on a date. She set down their menus and soon left them alone to decide what they wanted.
