Ava had been hanging out with different people and she felt as if none of them really made her feel like she could be herself around them. She hadn't been out much since homecoming. She was just one of them girls that tried to stay oit of trouble. She didn't go out and party or have sex with a guy in their dorm. She wanted her first time to be with someone she liked and maybe someone she cared about. She was actually going to try out for the girl's swim team. she had talked to a senior girl and asked about it. she had been told that her swimming speed needed to be a certin time and that she had to practice if she wanted to be good. So that's has been what she has been doing for the past four weeks. She was down in the pool swimming lap. she had a black one peice on. her red hair was pulled into a pony tail. she glanced up every once and a while.

Christian walked out from the boys locker room, heading towards the pool. He was excited, the water seemed to call him. He couldn't wait until he could slip into the water and start his daily exercise of swimming laps, he could find some inner peace and relax as he cut through the water. His towel was folded over one shoulder and he wore a simple pair of black swim trunks to reveal his muscular chest and eight pack. His foot steps slowed to a stop when he saw that someone was else was in the pool, a girl he had never seen before.

Ava looked up to see a boy walking out of the locker room. she had been warned thata guy usually csme here during this time to work on his swimming. She raised herself out of the water. "its all yours" she said with a small smile. she went and sat on the edge of the pool putting her feet into the water. She looked up at him. He was well fit and cute.

Christian tilted his head, "Oh, thank you, though you don't have to quit your practice because of me," he smiled kindly, "I'm pretty good with sharing." he set his towel on one of the bleachers then walked to the edge of the pool, sliding into position to launch himself into the water, his body growing taunt as he stretched.

Ava nodded with a small smile. "I usually don't come at this timebut I had some free time and though id stop by for a while" Ava said. She watched him from where she was setting. "Well I'm Ava" she said with a small smile

He nodded and looked over at her, offering a smile. "I'm Christian." and with that he launched himself into the water, slicing through the water cleaning and making it to the other side and back in mere seconds, surfacing when he made it back to his starting point, shaking his hair free of water.

"Thats amazing" she said to him. "I don't think I could ever do that so fast" she said to him. "I'm trying toincrease my speed but I can't. I have been working for weeks" she said to him. "I need to find some help" she said

Christian tilted his head, leaning against the edge of the pool "It just takes a shit ton of practice and focus. The whole key is blocking out the world around you and just focusing on making your laps."

Ava nodded to him. "I can try to do that" she said to him. She got into the water and went to a starting point and started makkng her way across to the other side.She wasn't a fast as him by at least ten or so seconds. she swam back to where he was.

He nodded thoughtfully, "That's a good time for a beginner, it all just takes a lot of practice. I've been swimming for a lot of time in my life, so don't feel a need to compare yourself to me." he smiled.

Ava smiled. "Well I wanted to be on the swim team but a senior girl told me I needed a good time" she said to him. "And I have been trying for a good time" she said to him. "I don't do any sports and wanted to do some" she said

Christian nodded, "Swimming is fun, but it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Timing is everything too. Just gotta keep trying, I see promise in you."

Ava smiled.."Thanks." she said. she got up to set on the edge. "Well you go ahead and pratice" she said to him with a small smile. "And I'll keep working on swimming" she ssid with a small smile

Christian smiled back "Alright." he pushed himself off the wall of the pool and started his practice, working at a slow starting pace.

Ava watched him as he started off. She need to use the wall to push off. She had never really though of that but it would work better now that she though about it. She smiled watching him.."He was really good. Better than good.He was great.

As he continued on Christian began to gain speed, pausing every few seconds to breathe and kept on swimming back and forth.

Ava got up and walked over to the shallow end and sat on the steps letting her body be in the water. she kept watching him. She wanted to be lime that nut like he said he had been doing it most of his life.

Christian slowed down after awhile and leaned against the pool wall again, panting slightly. "I need a breather for a bit." he said, running a hand through his hair and slicking it back.

"Well you are really good" she said with a smile. She nodded. she swam over to where he was. "You seem to be like I am with my drums. When you are swimming you seem to be in another world. That's how I am when I play the drums" she said to him.

Christian nodded curiously. "Yeah, swimming's my life, it keeps me happy. You play the drums? That's a cool talent, I can't play any kind of instrument to save my life."
