Sophie showed him her phone feeling more tears roll down her face covering her face not able to believe them. "How could they just do that?" she said you could tell that she was crying her voice was shaken up a bit trying to take deep breaths.

He looked at her phone and shook his heads, "They just don't care about others, come here darlin'." he pulled her close against his chest and rubbed her back. "It'll be okay Sophie, I'm here for you."

Sophie frowned leaning into him nuzzling into him, "I don't get how people could be so cruel...I haven't done anything wrong." she said closing her eyes wishing this stupid blog didn't even start. "Thanks Jake...for being here."

"Any time Sophie." he gently squeezed her, hating seeing her so vulnerable and hurt over this whole blog, it pissed him off that he couldn't do anything about it. He wanted Sophie happy and to feel safe, which wasn't happening at this moment. "I don't know how they can do this little lady, it just shows how horrible they are."

Sophie sighed finally stopped crying wiping away her make-up that was probably running down her face. "I don't know either it just sucks that people beleive it." She said frowning laying down in the grass next to him looking up at the sky.

"I don't believe it." he leaned over her and gently wiped off her smeared make up with his hand, looking down at her sadly. "I'm sorry it happened, no one should ever have to go through something like this."

Sophie looked up at him and smiled lightly, "Thank you...sorry if I look like a wreck." she said with a small laugh. "I probably look like a raccoon." she said wiping away the rest of the makeup she could get off without using a mirror.

Sophie smiled sitting up looking to him. "How do you know what a Sophie looks like? Meet a lot of Sophies?" she asked only kidding moving over and sat in his lap wrapping her arms around him.

He laughed softly, wrapping his arms around her and rubbed her back. "I only know one other Sophie, and that's my sweet mamma, and she's a very pretty lady too."

"Aw really?" she said smiling resting her head on his shoulder, "I bet she's sweet too. I want to meet your mother one day." she told him laughing. "She has to be great if she has the same name as me. All Sophie's are great, and attractive." she said laughing.

Jake laughed softly and stroked her hair, "Maybe you'll meet her some day too, and my Dad, he's kind of a stereotypical cowboy though. He was a profession bull rider, now he just runs the family ranch and is a coach to younger kids who want to ride."

"That's sweet of him though, guess he likes kids huh?" Sophie asked looking to him. "It would be nice to meet your brother too." she said poking out her tongue moving so she faced him. "Who's the older brother? You or him?"

Sophie nodded bitting her lip looking to him leaning forward a bit going to kiss him but decided against it. She turned her head away blushing lightly smiling, "Well I could imagine you two being different, that's who makes you...you." she said brushing some hair away from her face

Jake nodded, watching her curiously. Had she tried to kiss him? He wish that she had, he wouldn't have objected in anyway,he didn't care if that meant that they would be moving too fast. "Reeds the more romantic and silly one, I'm kind of more rough and tumble."

Sophie smiled, "I can see that Mr. rough and tumble. You're kinda silly too." she told him looking to his eyes. "You know....I've been wanting to kiss you since we walked on the trail ride?" she said putting his cowboy hat on.

Sophie giggled, "How about I meet you half way?" she said leaning forward placing her lips to his kissing him. She just felt like this was right, it didn't feel like they were moving fast at all to her. She smiled into the kiss pulling away slightly resting her forehead to his, her hand brushing along his neck before leaning in kissing him once more.

Jake smiled, running a hand through her hair as he kissed her back, relaxing at her touch. To him, nothing felt more right than this moment, everything just felt...well....perfect, despite how cliche that sounded, it was true.
