Danny smiled over at her. "It is nice. I enjoy being around my brother," he said as he caught his keys once more, deciding it would be best to stop so that he wouldn't end up losing them in the crowd if he managed to drop them. "Do you have any siblings?" he asked curiously, assuming that she probably did by the way she had talked about how it was nice to have a sibling to be close to.
Elizabeth giggled as she followed after him. "Was she seriously not getting that she could just go the exact same way that she took to get to the grocery store? That's terrible," she said as she shook her head, super excited to be going to the beach. There was a little bounce to her step as she walked next to him. "So, tell me about yourself? Besides snowboarding, what else do you like to do?"

Bunny nodded as they stood in line. She tried thinking on how to describe her little sister. "Yeah, her name is Harleigh...and honestly, she's a little rhymes with witch. She's four years younger than me, and my parents favor her over me." she pulled out her phone, a simple sliding variety with a full QWERTY keyboard with a small bedazzled rabbit on the back. "I had to pay for this and my contract out of my own money, money that was supposed to go to college, while my parents bought her a new Iphone 5s after she "accidentally" dropped her old one in the lake. More like she was skipping her phone like a rock." she scowled before putting her phone away. "Luckily...I do have a fairly good relationship with my dad...mom, not so much." she sighed. "But enough about that! That's depressing!" she said happily and clapping her hands together.
"Nope! The best part was, she lives only about 10 blocks away...and she got lost going to the grocery store in the first place." he laughed while thinking back. "Let me think, I like to watch basketball and hockey, my older brother used to play hockey. Umm...I guess mostly the classic guy stuff. I'm pretty boring." he laughed as they walked up to his car. He quickly opened the door for the passenger and waited for Elizabeth to get in before closing it and running around to the other side.

Brandon frowned as he looked over at her. "She seems a little too old to be so immature as to skip a phone like a rock, but she also seems too young to actually have a phone," he said with a sigh as he shook his head. Kids these days honestly all needed a good ass whooping. And parents were being complete idiots by giving their kids all these electronics. He didn't even have a phone until he was fifteen, because before then he was too busy obsessing over comic books and staring at girls to care about electronics. "Well, I'm really sorry your relationship with her isn't so great. I'm sure when she grows up and you two are more so on the save level, mentally, things will get better."
"Oh wow! That's really sad," Elizabeth said with a giggle as she climbed into the passenger side. "Thanks hun," she said to him with a little smile, moving over to buckle herself up. "Basketball is blech, but hockey is interesting," she said with a little nod. "I used to play with my guys friends. I wasn't very good, because I was half their size, but it was a lot of fun anyways. They didn't go easy on me, so I actually felt like one of the guys."

Bunny shrugged and smiled. "I honestly don't really care. We aren't into the same things either, when we lived back in Maine we never saw each other anyway since we were both out doing different things and what not." she explained. She took her sunglasses off once they reached the arch that held ticket booths and put them in her canvas backpack and pulled out a small hanging wallet to wrap around her wrist. "I don't find much comfort in my family, I'm more of a friends and animal girl." she explained while looking back up at Danny. "And like I said, this is much to depressing! Lets talk about something else! What else do you like to do in your free time except messing with the animals?" she asked him with a tilted head.
"really? That's pretty cool. There was a girl at my old school who was on the football team for the longest time, and she was really good." he said with a smile. "I admire any girl who can make men respect them in their own sport." Richard said as he buckled in his seat and turned the car on. Top forty music blared from the speakers, making him cringe and quickly turn the volume down. "GO ahead and change the station to anything you like." he said as he backed up and pulled out of the school parking lot.

Danny decided to respect the fact that she didn't want to talk anymore more about her family. He nodded a little and gave her a smile. "Well, you already know about my dancing and the fact that I'm in track. You also already know that I'm every girl's favorite friend zone. Other than that I like to sing, play sports with my friends here and there, and play video games. I'm kind of the typical guy....except I'm not a man whore like most of the guys here," he said with a little smile, pulling out his wallet. There was no way he was going to let her pay for the tickets. "Two," he told the guy in the ticket booth, pulling out his money and handing it to him. The guy gave him his tickets and his change. Danny put his change in his wallet, and his wallet back into his pocket before handing her her ticket. "What do you like to do in your free time? I feel like I have been talking about myself all day and haven't really heard much about you."
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow as she looked at him. "That's actually really awesome. I've thought about joining a men's sport, but..." she started, looking down at her thin figure. "My mom wants me to be a model, so the whole 'bulking up' thing isn't going to happen. Plus, I kind of like my little figure," she said with a shrug. She would have been far too thin to actually be able to make it in a men's contact sport. She would have been thrown around like a rag doll. "And you don't seem like the kind of guy that would like my music."

Bunny narrowed her eyes at him as he paid for the tickets. She raised her eyebrow, "Next time we do something together, I'll pay. I feel weird letting you buy for me." she said as she took her ticket and they continued walking. She nodded as she listened to him talk, she was never one to bore people with her life. She liked listening to others, her life was fairly boring really. "Oh! Don't worry about talking all day. My life is pretty boring so I don't talk about it much." she giggled. "What I do in my free time?" she asked while thinking on what to say. "Hmm...I take pictures a lot..as you know. And when my roommate is gone I tend to have silent dance parties and I like to sing badly to songs on purpose. Umm...that and I like to run, though I haven't had the chance yet to go for a run yet here. See I'm pretty boring." she said while gesturing wildly. "Ohhh!! Look at all the animals!" she cheered while clapping her hands when they walked into the main area of the zoo.
Richard smiled as he nodded, "I guess it's really however you want to view it and whatever you want to do. DO you actually want to be a model, or is it just your mom's dream?" he asked as he turned his blinker to get on the freeway. "It doesn't matter about music, I have this rule that the passenger chooses the music if there is one, if multiple then they all have to decide." he explained as he merged into traffic.

"Fine," Danny said with a pout. He was just the kind of guy that didn't like for girls to pay for him. He preffered to be the gentleman and pay for their time together, especially with what they were doing was all his idea. He chuckled a little bit as she continued on. "Hey, one person dance parties are freakin' amazing. I do them all the time, except I'm usually in the shower and singing into my shampoo bottle--that's something I have never told anyone, so this is between just you and me," he said with a little smile. He watched as she got all excited about the animals, a thought popping into his head as he watched. "Hey, Bunny. Do you happen to have a date to homecoming?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Elizabeth thought it over for a moment before nodding her head. "I think I do. Models are always beautiful, and if I could somehow make it into the business it would be nice to know that people are looking at my pictures and thinking: Damn, I want to be like her," she said with a soft smile. "But at the same time I don't want to make that my entire life."

Bunny smiled, "But thank you for the ticket." she grabbed his and dragged him through the crowds to get to some of the more interesting animals. "Look at that!" she giggled as she stopped at an exhibit and held the railing and looking at the enclosure at the animals, some deer-like creatures. "Dance parties are really fun, I'm not a good dancer, so I do it in private a lot. And there is no reason to be ashamed of performing in the shower! I do it too, though our showers echo...so it just distorts it even more." she explained. When he asked her about homecoming her turned to look at him. "No, I don't, why?" she asked, mimicking his eyebrow.
"Well, I'm sure that modeling isn't the only job some of those women have. There has to be something else they like to do other than that." he said as he watched a few signs pass by and made the appropriate shifting of lanes.

"What are those things?" Danny asked as he looked at the enclosure curiously--he had never seen anything as weird as that. He squinted at the nearby sign, attempting to sound out the first part of the creature's names. "How would you say that?" he asked, pointing to the sign. It was actually kind of nice being at the zoo, and actually behaving for the first time in his zoo life. He then began to wonder if they made these new enclosures the way they did, because of kids like him. He turned his attention back to her, scratching the back of his neck kind of awkwardly. He was never great at asking girls to dances, whether they were friends or not. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go with me? I mean, it would be as friends, of course. But I think it could be a lot of fun." he said with a nod.
"Acting, I'm sure," Elizabeth said with a little shrug. She felt like that would be the dream life, but it didn't really seem like something she could live up to. She looked over at him, a curious expression spreading across her face. "What do you want to be once you leave high school? What's your goal in life?"

"I have no idea...but they are pretty cool!" Bunny exclaimed before pulling off her backpack and getting out her camera. She focused it on one of the animals before taking a few pictures of it in rapid succession. She checked how they came out and nodded to herself before stringing the camera by the strap around her neck. Bunny's face was neutral for a second before it broke out into a lopsided grin. She quickly covered it with her hand before steeling her expression into a closed mouthed smile. "That sounds like it will be fun! I would love to go." she exclaimed, her eyes bright with excitement.
"Aim high, or go home." Richard smiled, "I'm sure you will get there." he told her as he took the exit that apparently lead to the beach. "Honestly, I don't really know. I know I want to graduate...and I want to go to college, but I have no idea what I really want to do." he said with a sigh. "It's kind of frustrating ya know?" he asked with a shake of his shaggy hair.

Danny chuckled, watching as she snapped pictures of the strange creatures. He was never really one for cameras: he wasn't the type to be on either side of a camera. He looked over at her, actually kind of surprised to see that she was so excited about him asking her. It was kind of nice to know someone actually wanted to spend time with him. "Great! I'm going to be wearing just a plain black tux, since I think that would be easier than color coordinating," he said with a little nod, feeling like a total idiot for talking about color coordinating. "So what's up with you hiding your teeth?"
Elizabeth smiled back at him, giving him a little nod as he exited the freeway. "If you turn right, go down to cobalt, and make a left it's a lot quicker than following the signs from here." She instructed, using her hands to help emphasize her instructions. "Yeah, I get how that can be frustrating. But at least if you go to college for your basic studies, it gives you some time to figure out what you're going to major in."

"Alrighty! I kind of have to look for a dress...though I do have one that I have in mind that I have been thinking of." he mumbled as she adjusted some of the lenses and moved to another creature in the pen. She looked slightly startled when he asked her about her teeth. "Oh...um, it's kind of just a personal thing. When I was little I went to the dentist and they numbed my lips so bad that I didn't feel it for like, the rest of that day and the next. So, me being little I chewed on it because no one told me not to, so it's like permanently swollen and lopsided and it just doesn't look right." She shrugged while straightening up and turning back to Danny.
Richard nodded and turned his right turn signal on as he slowed down then turned. "Yeah, that's what I plan to do for college, try all the classes I can and see what one's I like."

"Well, if you want, after this I can help you pick out a dress?" Danny offered. He had helped girls pick out outfits so many times that he had a pretty descent idea about what girls were looking for. Plus, with him being a guy he knew somewhat what looked good. At least, what he thought looked good. He wasn't a fashion major, so his opinion wasn't necessarily the best one. He scrunched his face a little bit, feeling horrible for her. "I'm sorry that happened. I really can't tell, though," he said as he moved closer to her, examining her mouth a little bit.
Elizabeth nodded, looking out the window as they neared the beach. She rolled down her window a bit, sticking her head out to catch the scent of the ocean. It smelt amazing, and the air felt so cool on her skin. Excitement was threatening to burst out of her as they got closer and closer. "This is going to be so much fun!" She said, pulling her head away from the window as she looked back over at him, a big smile on her face. "I love surfing. And I hope you don't think me to be too forward; but I'm also kind of curious to see what kind of muscle you're packing under that shirt," She said, teasing him a bit. Snowboarders weren't exactly hulking with muscle, but they did tend to have some nice lean muscle.

"Only if you want." she giggled. "I have one in mind that I saw in a store the other day, I just have to try it on and see how it looks." she shrugs while taking his hand and dragging Danny to an exhibit that had foxes in it. "I love foxes." she giggled while taking pictures in rapid succession and different colored filters. "Don't be sorry! There's nothing that can be done about it really, it's all in the past. You can only really tell when I do show teeth, so I try not to." she said with a shrugging while standing back up to be on his level. "I mean, I've adapted to it, so I don't really worry about it." she said simply before turning the camera and taking a picture of Danny. She checked then frowned, "The light is all wrong..." she sighed before deleting it.
Richard laughed at her comment before rolling down his own window as he pulled into a parking lot that was right near a beach. Lots of other people were on the sand and in the water, and the water rolled in steadily. "No worries about being to forward, and you will just have to wait and see." he said while poking her shoulder and getting out.

"Actually, I wouldn't mind going with you," Danny said with a little smile, happily following her around. He looked at the foxes, his eyes lighting up. He absolutely loved foxes. "Oh! And can we go see the peacocks? And the Flamingos?" he asked, looking over at her, clearly extremely excited to even be here. He couldn't wait to see all the other weird animals. He covered his face after she took the picture. "No! No flash photography, please. I'm just a normal guy trying to enjoy a nice day at the zoo with a friend. Damn paparazzi following me everywhere," he teased.
Elizabeth stuck her tongue out at him, climbing out. "Not like I have to wait long," she said with a little shrug. Their next task was to go along the beach and rent a couple of surf boards. She stripped down to her bathing suit, deciding to leave her shirt and shoes in his truck so she didn't have to lug it around. "Ready to go?" she asked, full of excitement.

"alrighty! Whatever you want." she giggled. "When is the dance? I'm so forgetful sometimes..." she muttered while hitting her head with the palm of her hand the try and remember. "Of course! I want to see most of these animals! Though I don't think we will have to visit an actual exhibit for the peacocks...they like to roam." she giggled while pointing over to a low wall were, sure enough, there was a female peacock strutting on the bricks. Bunny laughed as she started to take more pictures, "Look this way, so what do you have to say about your recent meeting with that one bald girl?!" she imitated a paparazzi photographer with a laugh before lowering the camera. "Lets go!" she caught his hand again and pulled him to another exhibit.
Richard laughed as he pulled off his own shirt, flip flops and sunglasses. He dropped them into the driver's side seat and nodded. "Let's get going then." he said as he grabbed a backpack from the back of the car with towels, sunscreen and a few other things and dropped his keys and wallet into it. "Do you need to put anything in here?" he asked offering the open end of the bag to Elizabeth.

"Um...I believe it's Saturday?" Danny said, pretty sure it was Saturday. He had originally planned on going with a friend of his, so he already had two tickets paid for, so at least they wouldn't have to worry about that. Danny immediately turned around to see the peacock, his eyes lighting up. "Oh my god! She is so ugly. I want to see a male one, they are the ones with the feathers," he said, his expression falling into a look of disappointment. He turned his attention back to her, looking like he was honestly thinking over her question. "Well, I'd have to say she is an interesting one," he said, nodding his head a little bit. "I mean, she seems like the kind of girl that would probably kill me in my sleep....but that's kind of a fantasy of mine," he teased, a grin pulling at his lips.
"Umm.." Elizabeth started, grabbing her wallet and dropping it into his bag along with her sun tan lotion. She looked back at her stuff, making sure that she had everything that she needed, giving him a little nod when she decided that was it. "I think I'm good to go. Anything I ask, though; would you mind eventually putting lotion on my back for me, please?" she said, demonstrating how she couldn't reach the middle of her back. "I burn really bad."

Bunny nodded as she thought. "Okay...that gives a little bit of time..." she said as she calculated everything in her head. She laughed as she lead him farther into the zoo before stopping, "Sorry! Now you pick some exhibit to visit! We will more than likely see some male peacocks soon." she grinned, forgetting about her lip for the briefest of moments. She laughed at his answer, "Well...if it's a fantasy than what am I to hold back on?" she asked as she smirked and raised her eyebrow. "However, there is the small matter that I have no idea where you live." she laughed.
Richard closed his bag up and nodded. "Sure, I can do that." he said with a smile as they started walking. "I'm lucky that I don't burn easily, I tan." he said with a smirk as he kicked up some sand as they walked.

Danny chuckled, thinking over what exhibit he would want to do to. "It would be fun if we go hunt down the polar bears and go for swim," he teased with a little wink. Yeah, swimming with the polar bears was never a good idea. He didn't mind if he didn't run into a male peacock, though. They weren't all that great unless he was actually able to mess with them. "I actually live in the dorms, so I'm pretty easy to hunt down. Just, please, kill me slowly and painfully," he said with a grin as he started leading her off past a few exhibits to make his way to the polar bear exhibit.
Elizabeth pouted a little. "Lucky! Don't rub it in my face," she teased. She turned into a lobster after being outside for a short amount of time. It was kind of her curse. She lead him down the sidewalk, not going to the beach quite yet. She was on the hunt down for a serf board shack.

Bunny shrugged, "Then lets go!" she laughed as she made her way over to a map to find where the exhibits were. "WE can if you want." she said with a light laugh. "So...what floor and number?" she asked with a raised eyebrow, mischief was in her eyes. "I live in the dorms too, I don't see my roommate that much though." she said shrugging. She quickly followed after Danny as he started walking.
Richard laughed as he followed after Elizabeth. "Yeah I know, it's awesome." he said with a huge shit-eating grin on his face.
