Serenity was waiting outside in the courtyard for Stefan to show up. He was suppose to meet her so they could study today. She needed to tutor him so he wouldn't fall behind. She was wearing a blue dress today. She was looking like a hippie like always. She sat down under a tree in the grass. She looked at her phone to see if he cancled at all. Nothing. :He better show up!" she said. She waited, and hoped he didn't forget.

Stefan roughly ran a towel through his hair, tugging on a pair of boxers with his free hand. He opened his locker and grabbed his clothes. He tossed his towel aside, quickly trying to get dressed. He had just finished conditioning, and he promised Serenity he'd show up to lessons this time. The only reason he was showing up was because he bailed or stood her up all week. He felt bad. He would get her coffee. He drove the short distance from the rink to the school, almost getting into an accident more than once. He parked quick and literally ran to the Starbucks, ordered her a coffee and tea--he didn't know which one she liked--and then ran to the courtyard, where they were supposed to meet. He saw her, "Hey!" He called, panting quietly, "Sorry I'm late. Conditioning," he said, holding out the coffee and tea, "I got you coffee... Or tea. I didn't know which one you liked so I just got both," he said hurriedly, sitting down beside her finally.

"ill have the coffee." She said as she took it from his hands. She was surprised he actually showed up. He stood her up all week, and it upset her. "What do you need help on?" she asked curiously. She took a sip of her coffee. That helped her headache out.

Stefan handed her the coffee, "There. I put some creamer and stuff in it, so I hope it's not too sweet," he said, offering her a small smile. He opened up his backpack and pulled out his math homework, "Just about everything," he said, opening his textbook, "Like, I just... none of this makes sense to me," he said, frowning at his homework confusedly. He was an idiot, he knew that for sure.

"Maybe if you didn't blow me off, you wouldn't already have this big of a headache." She said rolling her eyes. "So, math. Its pretty easy, once you get the hang of it. What are you working on?" she asked curiously setting her coffee next to her.

Stefan frowned, "I have a headache always," he said, running a hand through his hair in frustration. He needed to be better at school, and it honestly wasn't that easy for him. "I... I don't even know. It's Algebra Two," he said, frowning. He failed math freshman year, so he was still a little behind on math. "I don't get how to find X," he said, scratching his cheek and huffing.

To find x, you got to get x by itself. And do the opposite. So if its x+3+5, you would subtract 3 from both sides." she still had a hard time excepting that Stefan was behind in math. It wasn't that hard, but for him, it seemed impossible.

"Yeah I know that garbage, but this is harder than that. We're not in the sixth grade," Stefan pouted, leaning back and laying on the ground, "Can we just not do anything? Let's just sleep," he said, dropping his textbook on the ground beside him. He didn't want to work on this garbage. It was stupid and math was pointless.

"Well sleep all you want. Its not my grades, and no hockey for you doesn't mean no fun for me." She said. She looked up at the clouds. She smiled imagining all the things she would look up and see as a kid. She smiled at a childhood memory.

"Well you're being paid. Isn't it your job to motivate me or something?" he said, resting his head on her thigh, "And I want to sleep," he said, looking down at his textbook sadly. He could do math, but it was just hard when he didn't understand the formulas or anything. He would appreciate it if she could just explain the formulas or crap. That was what he needed.

"I wish you didn't stay up so late, so you wouldn't be tired." She said rolling her eyes. "Get your head off me and sit up, you need to study." She said sitting up. She had always cared for Stefan. She wanted to see him do well \this year, so she was going to do anything necessary for him to succeed.

"Well there's nothing you can do to change that," Stefan scowled. He shrugged at her question, "I don't feel like it. Your thighs are warm," he said, grinning widely. He rolled of her regardless, not wanting to piss her off anymore. It was funny as hell, yeah, but he knew he had to learn. At least a little bit. "So how's life? Any guys in your life? How many hippie things have you done in the past week?" he asked, smirking.

"The guys in my life are none of your business, and Im not a god damn hippie!" She said rolling her eyes. She hated being called a hippie, but she knew she was one.

"Why can't I know about your the boys you date?" Stefan asked, snickering. "But you are a hippie. Look at your hair," he said, flicking one of the pieces of her hair. It was funny how much of a hippie she was, especially since she never admitted it. He didn't know why she denied it so much. It wasn't a bad thing, not really at least.

She tried to ignore him. One thing she hated about being a hippie is everyone thinks that they smoke pot all of the time. She only tried it once, and she hates how everyone judges. "My life, my business. How many girls have you knocked up already?" She asked jokingly.

Stefan narrowed his eyes at her, "One, thank you very much, and she got an abortion," he said, frowning. It wasn't any of her business, really, "So tell me, how many guys love you?" he asked, chuckling, "Which one is taking you to homecoming?" he asked, playing with her hair. Although she was a hippie, she could probably get a date to homecoming if she wanted one.

Serenity was shocked about the abortion. "Oh you mean Kinley? Do you wanna talk about it?" She was pissed she had half the right mind do go and kick her ass. She didn't believe in abortions at al. "Oh I have a date, and for your information, nobody would ever fall in love me." She said looking at him

Stefan shrugged, frowning and looking up at the sky, "Yeah, Kinley. And no, I don't feel like it right now Serenity," he said, frowning thoughtfully. He really didn't want to talk about what happened, ever. His brows show up, "Who is it?" he asked, curious. "And I didn't say they would. Why fall in love when you're only in high school?" he questioned, smirking. "Unless, of course, you want one of them to fall for you."

"Well im here with you if you need me." she said smiling. "Nathan, that new guy. I met him when I was drunk." she said laughing a small laugh." Did you se I was nominated for homecoming queen? I was literally shocked!" She said with a smile.

Stefan shrugged when she spoke, "I'll try to remember that," he said blankly, frowning. He raised a brow, "Never heard of him," he said, blinking up at the sky with disinterest. "Really? I didn't look at the ballot thing... ever," he said, shaking his head, "Who won?" he asked, raising a brow curiously.
