It's been a few days, almost a week since the dance where she met Aaron Cadence. She never thought that she would meet someone like him, he felt different to her not like any other guy she has talked to, or slept with before. She was done with school for tonight and decided on going into one of the music rooms to practice writing, and playing her songs. Since the auditorium was being used for something else she settled for a music room closing the door carefully before sitting down by the piano taking out her guitar starting to play one of her songs she has been writing for a while called, "I Wish I Could Break Your Heart". Aaron was seeking an escape from the outside world for a little bit. Lately things had been getting kind of stressful with home work and the constant nagging from fans. He hadn't been able to talk with his sister and cousin for awhile since they had their own things going on. He still didn't understand if Syra was in a relationship or if Riell was getting involved with someone, it annoyed him to not know.
The only way he could figure out how to calm himself down though, was through trying to write a song. He was able to let his emotions go through that process so he had decided to walk to the music room to get some peace and quiet. He was about to walk past one of the rooms in order to get into the room farthest away, until he heard someone singing. He stopped and furrowed his brow as he listened.

Finishing the song Cassadee placed down her guitar and started writing some stuff down in her notebook. Thinking for a moment before pick up her guitar to play the changes she had done. Once liking the sound of that she sat there looking over some other songs she had written but hasn't worked on them yet.

Aaron continued to listen, frowning slightly when it stopped. He wanted hear more of the song, but he didn't want to scare off whoever was inside. He decided to take the chance and knocked on the door of the room she was in.

Cassadee heard the knock on the door looking over wondering who it could be if she would get kicked out or not. Walking over opening the door to see Aaron standing before her. "Oh...hey!" she said with a small laugh.

Aaron smiled down at her, tilting his head when he recognized her hair. "Nice to see you again, I assume you were the one singing?" He asked.

"Yes it was." Cassadee said looking up at him smiling. "It's nice to see you again too." she said opening the door a little bit more. "You can come in if you want.." she offered.

He nodded and walked into the room. "How have you been?" He asked with a half smile as he looked at her curiously.

"Good been busy with school I guess how about you?" Cassadee asked smiling walking over to her guitar. "Were you listening?" she asked.

"Pretty much that same as you, I've been swamped with homework." He wrinkled his nose in annoyance. "Yeah," he said with a light blush, "I couldn't help but overhear you."

Cassadee scrunched her face, "Ew homework." she said laughing smiling as he blushed. "Do you want to hear more?" she asked him.

He chuckled softly and smiled at her. "Sure, but only if you really want me to hear. I know song writing is a very tedious and private process."

"Yeah you can hear the song I just finished." Cassadee told him grabbing her guitar. "Oh my name is Cassadee by the way since now you know who I am." she told him as she played her guitar.

Aaron smiled and sat down in one of the empty chairs. "Let's hear it then Cassadee." He replied with a smile.

Cassadee smiled starting to play the song she was playing before he came in. After a few minutes she finished looking to him, "Well how do like it?" she asked running a hand through her hair.

Aaron listened thoughtfully and looked at her. "I like it." He replied and rubbed his jaw. "It's different...what was your inspiration for it?"

Cassadee nodded laughing, "Ex boyfriend." she said sighing softly as she thought of back home and everything she had gone through.

He nodded in understanding, thinking of his own ex, but quickly brushed the thought of her away before his heart could start hurting. "Ah," he nodded slowly, "scorned love. Good inspiration."

"I know right?" Cassadee said rolling her eyes slightly before looking at him. "What were you doing down here by the music rooms?" she asked him strumming her guitar softly.

"I was going to try writing a song too. I think Riell would like something new to focus on, even though the band is on hiatus." Aaron replied. "It's a good way to de-stress."
