Whew. Wow, there was a lot of negativity going around over what people wore to the Valentines Day dance. I waited for all the worst dressed lists to be posted so I could bring some positivity back to people.
These guys are complaining about what people decided to wear to the event, saying things like, "It's not Halloween." It's a fucking masquerade you guys. People can come wearing whatever the fuck they want to wear.
That being said, these boys and girls, in my opinion, are the best ones. As always, ladies first:
Jinora: While I'm not very fond of the dress, this mask stood out from everyone elses. I wonder how long it took her to glue all those feathers around her eyes. And this is just me, but I'm really digging the Black Swan look she's got.
Faith: Again, I love swans. I would have worn this mask myself had it not easily given me away. Everything was cut by hand and it's perfect.
Harper: Oh my god, that dress and that bag. The gown is so simple yet stunning, like a night sky (that sounds obvious and unoriginal but it's true to me).
Jayne: I love the fit and flare style with all the fine lace. The color is perfect. And so what if she wore a skull mask? It looked pretty badass in my opinion.
Winnie: I am in love with this dress. And her mother made this! Wow! The necklace is too much but I love the shoes, the bag, and the nails very much.
Yulia: A burial gown? Really? I didn't know the illusion style existed back then. The dress overall is not that bad especially with the color and the back design. Her mask and hair were the best parts of the emsemble. And I think it's adorable that Connar got her a corsage.
Kinley: Yeah, so, she's not the sweetest person we know. But I'll give her credit, she knows how to dress. I really like the shiny gold sheen of the dress. I think it's really pretty.
Haven: I don't give a fuck if anyone thinks this dress looks like a skinned Big Bird. I like it. I like the color and the style along with the matching mask and shoes.
Carly: WOW. I love the details at the bottom of the dress. It looks like the dress Ariel would wear to prom, and that's a good thing. I really want this dress now actually.
And now, the guys.
Giovanni: The pinstripe suit is not the most popular in my book, but he pulls it off. I guess that's just because he's really tall.
Richard: Is that you? Wow. I wonder if he picked this out himself or if he got help.
Lewis: I'm in love with the gold embellishments on the jacket, and that the buttons close on the side rather than in the middle.
Lance: This suit might be too casual for a masquerade, but guss who give a fuck? Not me! I like the mask he paired with it, with the music notes. I wasn't expecting to see a guy wearing something Phantom of the Operaish.
Connar: I'm pretty sure this is a superhero mask, not a devil. Just thought I'd clear that up.
Bry: I'm really into the leather animal mask he chose. His outfit I found to be pretty rebellious, which I liked. It made him stand out.
Rosco: I love the design of his mask with the color and the cracks.
With those lists being done, I just have one more thing I'd like to say. There was one student who came whos look I absolutely love. They have to be my favorites. And they are...

ALICE BISHOP AND HER ROLLER DERBY TEAM!!!
These chicks did not give a fuck at all. They celebrated their win by crashing the dance in their uniforms while wearing these horse masks. None of them left until the dance was over. They were pretty crazy around the food, expecially the chocolate fountain, and to whoever spiked the punch, you made fifteen derby girls really happy.
Well, now that that's done, I got to get working on a seven page paper due tomorrow morning. Later.
