Jarred is a happy go lucky guy that loves to have a good time. He

is very loyal and a bit of a social butterfly. Despite being so good natured and looking happy all the time, he really feels alone. He feels like he doesn't have that one person who he can rely on. He'll put everything into a relationship, but it seems like he gets none of it back. He is often disheartened and hides himself behind a false wall of happiness.

Jarred has lived a pretty, well, basic life. His families middle class, he has one younger sister, a few close friends, and is straight A student. His parents thought that Tidewater would be a great place for him to go and sent him there for his first year of high school.
Even though he was separated from his grade school friends, they still stay close and talk all the time and hang out whenever they can. This small group is made of people that he knows he can trust, but since they don't go to Tidewater (yet, okay one has already showed up and it's only a matter of time before the others show up) he's basically alone at school. Sure, he has some friends, but none that he is as closed to as his old buddies.

This boy is also a bit of a romantic and hopes to find "the one" some day. He isn't the best at reading the emotions of the opposite gender though, so that's a bit of a set back. Plus, there's the fact that his parents want him to only date other Asian's, though Jarred doesn't care much about ethnicity.

Jarred has had a girlfriend once before. He had met her online through Facebook and when they met, they had hit it off. Jarred was in puppy love. He did everything he could for this girl, but apparently it wasn't enough. A couple months after they had started dating Jarred had caught her with another guy.
It broke his heart.
He hasn't told anyone else this humiliating detail of his life, choosing instead to wallow in self pity as his ex moves on with the guy she had cheated on him with, as if nothing had ever happened.

Yet, he still wants her back.

He's pretty good at hiding his feelings though, and focuses on making other people happy instead of himself. Plus, he has some pretty sweet dance moves.
