Hey brother, there’s an endless road to re-discover.
Hey brother, do you still believe in one another?
After high school Eva went on to the University of Kentucky with the major of Education Administration. She got homesick and hated the fact that she was far away from her family, especially her older brother Jim, who had gone off and joined the military, but They would all exchange letters and Skype, which eased the pain.
She took pride in being a sister and since everything was going okay with Jim being deployed over seas, Eva continued to excel in school and do her best. She held the hope that Jim would be able to attend her graduation, but that hope was lost when Jim's convoy hit a road side bomb...Jim survived and was honorably discharged. He couldn't continue to serve due to the fact that he had been paralyzed by the explosion. He had lost the ability to control his lower body and was never, mentally, the same again.
Hey sister, know the water's sweet but blood is thicker.
Oh, if the sky comes falling down for you,
There’s nothing in this world I wouldn’t do.

Hey brother, do you still believe in one another?
Hey sister, do you still believe in love, I wonder?
Oh, if the sky comes falling down for you,Eva is a very sweet woman who will do anything for her family. She is very protective of her both her siblings and her students. She would never wrongly punish a student, especially if she hasn't heard the whole story as to why they were in trouble. Eva will listen to anything a student has to say and will help them through any hardships they may be facing. She has an open mind and an open heart. She treats everyone like her family and always has a smile on her face. Family and students come first, everything else comes last.
There’s nothing in this world I wouldn't do.
Eva is the second oldest of her siblings, having an older brother who she grew up close with. She was born and raised in the country side of Kentucky and is from a very wealthy family that had immigrated to America long ago after then second World War and made a name for themselves in various industries. Her life was simple and she grew up knowing that hard work is what makes a person better. She was the popular girl in high school and was President of her class four years in a row, her true compassion for her fellow students making her the candidate they wanted.

What if I'm far from home?
Oh, brother I will hear you call.

What if I lose it all?
Oh, sister I will help you out!
Oh, if the sky comes falling down for you,
The family was devastated. Eva was distraught. She left school and spent all of her time with Jim in the hospital. She took care of him to the best of her ability, but she could see that her brother had no desire to continue anymore. He knew he was never going to be the same or independent anymore. He didn't want to live out the rest of his days connected to feeding tubes, he wanted to end it. He told Eva, he told his family.
They were horrified, but in the end, they let him continue his wish. Before passing away Jim told Eva to continue with her schooling and take care of their brothers and sisters. She was the protector now.
Jim William Zerat passed away on October 14th, 2010.
Eva went back to school and got her degree. She stayed close to home and became a Principal at her siblings high school to make sure everything would be okay and she slowly became more happy, but once Ben started getting into trouble, she had no choice but to discipline him. She hoped that expelling him from school would show him the right path, but it was too no avail. When their parents decided to send Ben to Tidewater, Eva decided to follow and take up the open Principal position.
She is determined to not lose another brother.
