I just want to apologize ahead of time. I'm probably not going to be on tonight due to situations that happened at work. Not in the mood to talk about it but will possibly later.
I might return tomorrow though as most of you know, it's Valentines day so I doubt it as my man has made plans.

So, for those of you who really care why I was upset: I lost a patient yesterday, just a small puppy that was under my monitoring during a routine procedure. Everything was going well, the Doctor was suturing up and she was breathing and heart was beating Then nothing. We resuscitated her, but she came back with brain damage. There was nothing we could do. And I know that it wasn't my fault, I did what I could. But this was the first time it happened to me. And it doesn't get any easier. I knew with my profession this was going to happen, just didn't think with a puppy. So I may laugh and have fun, but I can promise you, I am pretty much dying inside right now.  |
