It's been a while ducklings. I have a myth to debunk and an announcement to make.
Ava Scott, a junior, has recently been claimed by Siren to be one of the many ladies sleeping with Lance Wood. Now I know that Lance is famous around here for being a lady killer, but Ms. Ava is not on his list. I don't know what even gave her that idea.
So Siren claims you've slept with Lance Wood. What would make her think this? Do you know Lance?
I know of him. I saw him at the diner messing with the waiter and he saw me looking at him.
So you never spoke to him?
Well yea. I ended up setting with him and we had a race who could get to the bottom of a milkshake. He won and wanted to know what his prize was. I told him he could pick. He told me to close my eyes and he kissed him infront of everyone. It was pretty emberassing.
How did the idea of the milkshake contest come up?
Er... I suggested it. Only because be kept flirting with the waiter and wouldnt leave her alone. I felt bad for the guy.
Is that the only time you've interacted with him?
I didn't even know he went to Tidewater. The the diner was the first time I saw him.
When did you find out that he goes here?
When I saw the Shark Tank.
Did you tell anyone about your encounter before the blog was posted?
No I didn't talk to anyone but Lance. I don't know if anyone saw us or what.
I'm pretty sure that Siren made this up, not knowing that coincidentally, they interacted only once. If not, then I'm beginning to wonder how they're finding all these things out and then stretching the truth. Thank you Ava for coming to talk to me, it's been a pleasure.
For any of you ducklings that are not going to the masquerade next Saturday and have nothing good to do, go see the Santa Cruz junior derby girls double header. The first game is at 6 and it's between the Glampires vs. the Hot Tamales. The next bout at 7:30 will be the Pink Ladies vs. the Hive.
Alice Bishop, a freshman here, plays for the Hive. She has been playing the sport of roller derby for seven years now and is quite famous in the sport, if not too YouTube famous. If she plays her cards right, she'll be drafted to Team USA once she turns eighteen.
Roller derby is an exciting sport, and if that can't persuade you, I'll tell you this; they're a bunch of hot chicks in fishnets beating the crap out of each other. Guys like hot chicks and fights right? Go see some derby!
