It was after he had dinner, Andy Brown decided he wanted to go practice some of his football moves at the high school football field. Oh wait, American's call it soccer. He missed home, a lot he made friends here sure but he still missed home, who wouldn't? Now it's only a memory since he rarely goes back to visit only on like certain holidays like Christmas and sorts. The only thing that really made him happy here were the hot girls, of course, football, and his music. After spending about an hour to two hours on the field he finally sat down by his bag to drink some water and to take a break while looking around his surroundings seeing if he saw anyone he knew.

Amalia sighed quietly, frustrated. She had drove out to grab a bite, but almost hit a bus full of people. It ended up she had been driving on the wrong side of the road. It was embarrassing. She was luckily she didn't hit them, or get pulled over. That would be tragic. She didn't like this whole living in America thing. It was hard to get used to all of this, and she hardly knew anybody besides her sister and parents. It was so awkward to be introduced as the new girl and then everyone just compliments and her accent. Though, all the American accents were nice. They were so attractive. But apparently to Americans, they weren't. Whatever. She wandered through the edge of the school, lost. It wasn't long before she came across a football field and smiled. That was the nice thing about America. They actually played football. Well, they also had American football. It was cool too, she supposed. It was quiet-looking, which she was happy for. She needed some silence. However, she noticed a lonely-looking guy and studied him, biting her lip. She'd seen him around campus once or twice, but what was his name?

Taking a sip of his water his eyes soon fell upon a girl, a beautiful girl to be exact. Wiping his lips of the water and slowly stood up seeing that she too was looking back at him. She didn't look too familiar to him, maybe he saw her once or twice around the campus through a crowd of people or something like that. He probably looked stupid right now, all sweaty from playing football and probably had a goofy smile on his face from admiring her from a distance. He soon grabbed enough courage to start walking towards her, he started to feel nervous...why? He hasn't even met the girl for crying out loud. Approaching her about a foot away from her he extended his hand towards her flashing her a smile. "Hey there...name's Andrew..but you can call me Andy. You look really familiar..." he spoke with his accent fairly strong telling he was from England.

Amalia felt the guy's eyes on her, meeting his gaze. She almost looked away, though offered a smile awkwardly. She didn't even know him. She pulled her eyes from him onto the field. She should attend one of the football games sometime. That would be great. She wanted to play some football, that would be great. Her thoughts were cut short when she heard a voice, looking to her side to see the guy she had seen before. She smiled at the sound of his accent. "It's a pleasure Andy. I'm Amalia," she said slowly, taking his hand and shaking it gently. "We might have a class together," she suggested with a shrug, although she was fairly certain they didn't.

"Woah a Brit! Wasn't expecting that." he teased letting go of her hand letting it push back his hair. "Yeah, maybe...or I've seen you around I'm sure." he said glancing down for a moment trying to think of a conversation they could have. "So you're from England? What part?" he asked tilting his head slightly. "Are you new here as well? Sorry if I'm asking all these questions...just never met another person from England here. I thought I was the only one." he said with a small laugh scratching the back of his neck. "Come over and sit with me, if you want." he offered looking to where he had left his things to make sure they were still where he had left them.

Amalia smiled, nodding, "Yeah, I'm from England," she said with a nod. It was nice to see someone besides her own family that had was from England. She nodded in agreement, "Definitely, maybe the halls," she said with a shrug. She wasn't exactly sure where she'd seen him, but it wasn't a big deal, since they met now, "I'm from Manchester, and you?" she asked, cocking an eyebrow. She laughed at his question, "Yeah I am. And don't worry, you're not. My younger sister goes here as well," she said, smiling. She raised a brow when he spoke, "Um, alright," she said with a small chuckle, looking over at where she assumed were his things.

Andy smiled, "Manchester...sweet. I'm from Liverpool." he said walking over to his stuff sitting down. "I have a younger sister but she's only eight." he stated taking a drink from his water. He looked up at her with a smile, "So do you play at all?" he asked picking up the ball. "This school has a pretty good team for football." he said tossing the ball up to her kinda hoping she would catch it, if not he would just feel like a dick throwing a ball at her and probably hurting her. He had a good feel about her, they can be good friends, and who knew maybe something more but he didn't want to rush into anything.

"Liverpool? Nice city," Amalia said with a smile, sitting down beside him. "Well, that's not horrible," she said, laughing and bringing her knees to her chest. She shrugged her shoulders at Andy's question, "I play, recreationally. Do you play?" she asked curiously, wondering if he played on the school team or not. That would be good, "Are they? I should go to a game sometime," she said, catching the ball as he tossed it to her, grinning. He seemed nice, which was good, since she really had no friends yet and felt super left out so far.

"Of course I play, and I'm on the school team. So yes you should most likely come and cheer me on of course." he said winking at her. "Do you have any good moves?" he asked her standing up rubbing some of the grass off his shorts. He took the ball from her hands rolling it on the ground taking a little jog out on the field. "Come on now, I know you got something. Bet you can't get a shot past me." he told her smiling kicking the ball to her.
