"What's the best thing about New York?" she asked. Alice remembered when her father took her to NY one summer. While she was no stranger to big cities, the Big Apple gave her this sense to always watch her back.

So does LA, she thought. It must be like a New York that never suffers from eternal winter. "I bet it was cold though, right?" The cold was a big problem with Alice. She couldn't stand cold air, snow or wind on snowy days. It frustrated her more when the sun was only shining.

"I hate that. I went to Chicago in November once for a roller derby tornament and it was FREEZING. And we were parked so far from the building too!" Alice shook her head. "We should have gone earlier. I'm actually glad I'm not in Japan right now because my friends are freezing their asses off."

"Wait until the summer." she told him wisely. "I was even at a convention once in Michigan in February and no one told me the convention was in three separate buildings. I cosplayed as Alice form Alice Madness Returns when she's in the Dollhouse and I literally just booked it from place to place. I was so angry."

"We all could use a nap." she said. "If being addicted to sleep is a thing then I might be getting it. Who doesn't like to sleep?"
