"Oh.." he blushed. Lewis scratched the side of his face uneasily, fully embarassed that she had called him out about her name. He liked the name and didn't think it was a problem that he called her it, but if she didn't like it, then... "Sorry Winnie." It felt weird saying that. "But what do you mean guys like me? If you mean the video game-loving, LARPing, comic fan, then you were just around a whole bunch of them." Lewis wasn't anything special. He thought of himself as nice but that was all he had going for himself. "Or do you think that... I'm not trying to get you into my room so we can... ahh..." Lewis coughed and pulled at his collar nervously. This was hard for him to say. It looked so much easier in the movies... and visual novels... or magazines. "Well you know."

"I'm sorry, I didn't to blow up about that," Winnie apologized wishing she could take back what just happened. her mind was suddenly racing, trying to fit the words she wanted to say so nothing wrong came out. "I mean like..." She said sighing with frustration that she couldn't make herself say what she wanted to. Winnie sighed again, closing her eyes and tried to slow her heartbeat down. "I mean a guy like you who is.... Cute." She mumbled the last word hoping he wouldn't notice her cheeks blushing bright red. Her mouth dropped open at what he was implying. "That's not... What I thought at all." She whispered shocked that anyone would think she would.

"You think.. I-I'm c-cute?" Lewis stuttered. Never once had somebody actually said that to him. He didn't even think that about himself. Some guys knew that they looked good. Lewis on the other hand had no idea. He shifted the way he was standing, backing away from her politely to give a bit of space. "S-Sorry!" his voice cracked. "I didn't mean that I thought you're.. You don't seem like the type to.." How the heck could he get himself out of this one? Whatever he said could be taken as an insult in some way. One way he was saying she was a slut, the other way she sounded like a prude. He didn't know enough about her to know the correct thing to say.

Winnie blushed even more, it was more like her whole face now instead of just her cheeks. "Maybe," She mumbled, hoping he wouldn't push the subject anymore. She suddenly wanted to be back in her dark room with her computer and her own little world, the comfort zone was calling to her as the outside world was caving. She let out a sigh of relief, if he didn't think she was that way, then everyone else didn't either right? "Thank goodness." She said smiling softly. "I'm sorry, again."

"No.. I'm sorry." It was totally time to get out of there now. Lewis really wished they would have drove their own cars instead of just taking Winnie's or something. He just had to calm himself down. The more this conversation kept going the harder it was getting for him to deal with. He dropped the subject entirely, and made sure Winnie was behind him while they walked to the parking lot. Things just too awkward for him to say another word.

Winnie followed him, her hands in her pockets and her head tilted down as she watched her feet rather than looking in front of her. She was wondering what had gone wrong with what had just happened. She continued to go over the conversation and noticed it was her the entire time making it worse, she closed her eyes and sighed. There was nothing she could do, this little friendship was over and they would never see each other again. Winnie's mind went over the moment she called him cute and she blushed instantly, wishing she could instantly stop that.

Lewis picked at a few bits of dry skin while he walked back to the car. They seemed to have become quite interesting to him. He raised them to his lips and bit away at a bit of hang nail to calm his nerves. How could he say that to her? First the name and then talking all about sex? He had even started thinking about it and gone and given himself an erection. The first time that had happened while actually talking to somebody face to face. His body shook lightly, ready to flee at any time. He got back into the car and buckled himself up with his head rested against the window. Where was this lesson tucked away in MLP? It did nothing to cover stuff like this. "Would you like to forget this day ever happened?" he asked. He didn't want to, but he'd understand. He wanted to be friends but for the bet, he could just start all over again.

Winnie slipped into the driver side and started the car, buckling herself in. She didn't turn towards him to speak "I would liketo forget ten minutes ago," she said knowing she wouldn't want to forget the whole day, but the last few minutes she would. She finally turned to see his reaction.

Only the last ten minutes? That meant that the entire day wasn't a complete bust, which made Lewis happy. Ten minutes, that could be arranged. "Whoa." Lewis said. He looked around the car that he was sitting in like he was confused. He touched the seats and looked back at the mall and then finally back to Winona. "That's so weird. I can't remember how I got here. That last thing I remember was we were in the game shop." He had the box of magic cards and she had the book he purchased for her. "Winona," he smirked, calling her the full name instead. That was part of the previous conversation. And she deserved a little bit of a tease. "Is it time to go home now?"

Winnie was slightly confused at first until he mentioned the last thing he remembered. She slowly nodded her head then narrowed her eyes at him for calling her by that name. She decided to let it go, he could be special and call her that she guessed. He deserved that right since she yelled at him for it, instead of explaining it. "Oh? You don't remember?" She asked as she placed the car into reverse and looked both ways making sure no cars were coming their way. "You got so excited about Teaching me that game that you passed out," She said smiling at her little story she was creating. "And then a flock of zombies attacked and I had to drag you back to the car. We are in a race of time to get back to the safe zone," She said as she backed out of the parking spot a little faster than usual.

Lewis caught that glare. He'd now refrain from calling her by her full name... most of the time. The story that she was beginning to craft was interesting. She obviously seemed to have an imagination similar to his own. It was surprising, however, when she backed out the way she had. Especially with the nice car of hers. "Zoinks! Z-Zombies?" he gasped. He patted his pockets and produced a small pocket knife. The expression on his face fell when he realized that was the only thing he was armed with. "I hope to god that this is level one, then. Or hopefully there some decent loot just sitting around. What is your weapon?"

Winnie laughed when he did his Shaggy impression, it was pretty much a perfect copy of the famous cartoon. Though she didn't care for the show she had seen it a few times, always knowing the smoke coming out of the van was nothing but pot smoke, of course those kids were high when having adventures like that. "Level one? Nah, those attacked when I was dragging you away," She teased as she zoomed out of the parking lot, not going too fast to attract attention from the mall cop, but faster than she should have been going. "I took care of those quickly with a grenade," She added thinking what level this zombies should be, "I believe we are at the level five, if I am not mistaken," She laughed at his tiny pocket knife wondering if he carried it around for this specific reason.

"Ugh no," he cried out. That meant that she was at least four levels ahead of him. "I hope I gained at least a little bit of exp before I was taken out. Otherwise, I'll never be able to catch up to you." Lewis made a face when she started laughing at the item. "Don't hate. My grandpa gave me this knife. He's swears that he's slain many zombies with this very knife... or was it Nazi?" He was pretty sure that they were the same thing in the end. He switched the blade back into the knife to avoid any damage to Winnie's car and tossed it into the air lightly. "I shit you not, this is probably the best weapon there is. A Lewis exclusive. 'Grandpa Montgomry's Rusty Pocket Knife'"

"I think you gained a small amount of exp, but I can't promise you that it was enough to reach level two," Winnie continued to tease as she pulled out of the malls parking lot and headed back to the school. She returned to her natural driving, not wanting to catch a cops attention by speeding because she was pretending to run from zombies. "Zombie Nazi's," She corrected him, shuddering at the thought of those two things combined like in the movie 'Dead Snow'. "Until you get it lodged in some Zombies eye and can't retrieve it as other zombies come at you. And consume you," She said, saying it a grave voice.

Lewis pumped his fist triumphantly. He wasn't going to argue over getting a little bit of exp. Winona was obviously the main character in the game. Lewis was just the goofy sidekick who only shined if you kept him around long enough. "Well as long as I get changed too, I won't mind as much." The thought of being immortalized in a video game actually thrilled Lewis. If he had the resources to recreate this scene, he probably would. Maybe he'd write it on his own. The other bronies would probably be interested in a read like this. "I'll just return near the end as boss you'll have to face. It'll be a big cut scene as you go through the moral struggles of killing what used to be your friend. If you do not shoot, bang, instant game over. How does that one sound?"

"Change? Into a zombie?" Winnie asked not sure why he would want to change, but when he explained she understood. "Well, I hope you understand I wont hesitate," She said cackling like a witch. She pulled into the schools parking lot and parked, she turned off the engine but didn't move. "So I guess I should give you my answer now huh," She said taking a glance at him.

"Hey!" He shouted. "That's not very nice of you. Sure I might have lost my mind or something, but I'm still the Lewis that you know. Maybe. Never met a real zombie to find out." Hopefully he would never have too. At the statement Lewis' eyes narrowed at first. For a moment he was confused as to what exactly she was talking about. "Awnser?" he asked, the cogs still turning in his mind. He then remembered. "Oh! Oh.." he blushed. It'd really be better if she were to say it over the phone. "Yeah. The dance. Winnie? Will you go with me to the Valentines Day dance?"

Winnie shrugged "Doesn't matter, if you, as a zombie, plan to eat my brains. I will kill you." She said Laughing, she would probably have a hard time doing it she knew. It wasn't easy to just go and kill off someone you knew even if they were a zombie, but if it meant surviving she would do it, or so she thought. Winnie watched the wheels turn in his mind as she waited for him to remember. She was shocked when he asked her again, blushed and turned away. "You know what Lewis. As a friend I say yes." She said smiling at him.

He was trilled by the response she gave. Lewis leaned forward for a hug but was stopped by the seat belt that was still held him in the seat. He unbuckled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, pulling their shoulders together. "Don't worry Winnie. I promise you that it'll be the best night of your life. I'll..." um.. Well he didn't know how much renting a limo would cost. It wouldn't have made much sense either if the dance was located in the school. "I'll look so good that you'd have no idea that you were dancing with me."

Winnie knew he was happy by the reaction he was showing her, but what she wasn't ready for him to try and hug her. She slightly swayed away from him and when the seat belt stopped him she sighed in relief only to have his arm wrap around her shoulders. She stiffened and blushed deeply, hoping he wouldn't noticed. "It's a masquerade ball, no one will know that I dance like a white chick." She teased relaxing a little.
