She knew that no one would know, or care who her father is. Kids didn't give a shit about rock n roll. But Jayne had brought all her rock, metal, and alternative vinyl records to school with her record player.
Why did she have to go to school? Going to California, she understood, but school? She should be talking to record companies.
She decided to go outside to smoke. She wasn't a regular smoker but on occassion she would have a nicotine free cigarette. They definetly calmed her down while not getting her hooked. That would have been bad for the voice. She lit one up and started to smoke it, leaning against the wall where the door to the girls dorm was.

Nathaniel was walking by the girls dorm room. He was omce again thinking about Hannah. He always did. He saw a girl smoking. He didn't like smoking. Both his mom and dad smoked. "You know that's not good for you right?" he asked. he knew about that. He had heard his old tracing coach talk about. it. If you smoke you could throw your track career away. Though Nathaniel had already done that. he leaned on a wall looking at the girl.

"Good thing I only have one every three days.." She smirked, letting out a stream of smoke. "They're non addictive cigarettes."

""How are they non addictive?" Nathaniel asked. He had tried smoking a few times and well he hated the taste of it. He looked around. "Well three days isn't too bad as oposed to every day" he said to him.

She smeered the finished cigarette into the butt disposal and left. She decided to give herself a tour of the school. Along her path, she saw a bunch of classmates chilling or working. In the lounge, she noticed, there was an area specially reserved for practicing guitarists.
