Eli smiled and nodded eagerly. "Of course I'll vote for you," he said enthusiastically, glancing quickly at the poster again, "I don't really have a choice anyways. You're the only person I know so far." He laughed and ran a hand through his hair. He could feel it sticking up in random places from the wind blowing it and his over-enthusiastic jumping around earlier, and he tried to smooth the stray pieces down. "Maybe I can be king and you'll be my queen," he said with a mischievous grin, before adding hopefully, "As long as you don't have a super jealous date."

She was sure there was a million other people he could vote for, so she'd be shocked if he did vote for her. It would be nice though, to win. "Aw well that's stupid. We're friendly here; you'll probably be popular or whatever before you know it!" she said, chuckling. Considering how cute he was, she was sure it would be easy for him to make lots of friends, especially with the ladies. She laughed when he tried to smooth out his messed up hair, shaking her head, "Nice," she said, shaking her head. She shrugged, "Mmmm maybe; I'll definitely vote for you," she assured, nudging him with her shoulder. She sure would, if he wanted her to. She laughed when he spoke, "That's a joke. I don't have a date. I'm just going with my friend," she said, snickering at the idea of a jealous date.

"It sounds like you're demanding me to vote for you," Eli said with a laugh as he finally gave up on fixing his disheveled hair. He frowned sympathetically as she told him that she didn't have a date, although he couldn't help but feel a little pleased. "Is this friend a guy friend or a girl friend?" he asked curiously, tilting his head and raising an eyebrow, "Because 'just going with my friend' is a little different if it's a guy friend."

It wouldn't have been as fun if she was latched onto a guy the whole time. At least, that was what she was trying to get herself to believe, of course. "Well it's a he, and not really. We're really just friends and he's definitely not interested in me, I assure you," she replied, unsure why he cared but slightly upbeat at the idea that he did.

Eli nodded thoughtfully, although he wasn't exactly sure how someone couldn't be interested in her. He eyed her again, realizing just how pleased he was with what he saw. He paused before speaking again, not sure if she would consider him out of line or not. "Is he gay?" he considered slowly. He hesitated, bracing himself for an angry rebuttal. Surely it wasn't okay to just ask someone if their friend was gay when you didn't even know them.

Pleased that she didn't seem irritated at him, Eli grinned and shook his head. "Maybe he's blind," he suggested with a wink and a laugh. He paused, standing still suddenly, when he realized that they had been wandering aimlessly around campus for the most part. "Are you actually going to give me a tour, or are you going to buy your time some more so you can keep flirting with me?" he asked her, smirking.

Danny was very capable of seeing as far as she knew. She almost fell when he stopped suddenly, looking at him with mild confusion. Though, when he spoke, she laughed, "Oh yeah! The tour! And personally I trying to do both, but I got so caught up in one that I forgot about the other," she chuckled, tugging on his arm gently to lead him to his first class, "Well here is your beautiful Government class. It's very boring, tedious, everything. It's no fun," she said, shaking her head.

"He carried you around?" Eli laughed, shaking his head and letting her lead him forward. "Sounds like you're pretty special," he replied as they finally started moving toward one of the buildings. "By the way, you're not a very good tour guide so far," he said with a playful grin, "You can't even flirt and show me around at the same time. Unless I'm just extremely good looking, and it distracts you." He grinned wider and then realized that she had started to speak about the government or something. "I have to admit," he told her slowly, "I've started to lose interest in this tour already. I'd rather find something fun for us to do."

Can't I admire you, flirt, and give you a tour all at once?" she asked teasingly, chuckling. Could that happen? Or maybe they could just end the tour and she could flirt and admire him in his dorm. Ugh, why was she thinking about this? She hardly knew the guy. She was so lame. She hit his arm lightly when he spoke, "Rude! But... I have to agree. Let's do something fun!" she said, grinning.

Eli shook his head vigorously. "You don't look so heavy to me," he insisted, figuring there was no way she was even 120 pounds. He knew he could easily carry her and figured the same for any of the other guys at school. He laughed when she spoke again, shaking his head. "Apparently not, since you've only been successful at admiring me and flirting so far," he teased, "The actual tour part hasn't been too great so far." He realized he now only knew where one of his classes was, but he didn't mind. He was enjoying following her around and admiring her, even if he felt extremely similar to a puppy. "So what exactly is there to do for fun around here?" he asked finally.

Pretty good right?" she laughed. She was too showing him his classes. Though it was hard, since he was cute and it was a challenge to pull her eyes off of him. Gah. She tried not to think about it too much, but it was impossible. She wondered if they could just skip the tour and keep on going with the admiring and flirting. That would be way more fun. "Basically nothing. There's the beach and amusement parks, but they're nowhere near the school," she said, frowning. "The amusement parks, I mean," she added with a shrug.

Eli shrugged, glancing at the door that they were standing in front of. "I'm not sure how much I actually care about my Government class," he laughed, pulling her away from it as if it were exhausting him just being near it, "I do like the beach and amusement parks though." He hadn't spent a lot of time at either of the two when he attended Jackson High. He didn't need to when he always had friends and entertainment around on campus. He shrugged again, his shoulders slumping in disappointment. "Doesn't sound like we have too much time for the parks today," he said coolly before adding on with slight more excitement, "I guess we'll have to save those for another day." He raised an eyebrow, a hopeful smile spreading across his face. Maybe there would be a next time.

Eli nodded slowly, feeling a bit deflated. "Well I'm not really far from that point," he admitted, "But I guess I should probably try at least a little this year. It's just never been that easy for me." He shrugged it off quickly, rolling his eyes. He didn't really mind that people knew that he had been held back a year, but he often felt like they were judging him for it, calling him stupid in their minds. His frown turned to a quick smile when she spoke again. "The beach on Sunday sounds awesome," he agreed, nodding, "Hopefully I'll see you for a little while during homecoming though."

She noticed his frown and tried not to comment, "Great! Bring some swim trunks," she said, curious to know whether he was muscular or not. His arms felt muscular, but did he have abs? Oh, the things she thought about. "Yeah definitely. If you see me you should come say hi! I can introduce you to people, if you want," she suggested, figuring she could help him make some friends, since it seemed he didn't have many at the moment.

Eli shrugged. He was grateful that she seemed to have confidence in him, but he wasn't so sure himself. Sure, it was possible for him to pull his grades up in time for graduation, but he wasn't confident in his own ability to do it. Of course, he would never give up or drop out. It just would probably take a little longer for him than for others. "What if I forget my trunks?" He laughed and cocked an eyebrow at her suggestively. He grinned when she agreed to see him at homecoming. "I'll definitely have to come find you, especially if I want to make some more friends around here," he said, mildly curious as to whether she would be introducing him to any of her girl friends or just some guys he could care less about. Although he could use some guy friends, the thought of meeting his female peers appealed to him more.

Eli laughed a little too loudly, a ridiculous grin plastered on his face. "Well I wouldn't want to have all the fun," he insisted with a shake of his head, "It wouldn't be fair if you couldn't join in on the naked swim session." He wiggled both eyebrows at her, knowing he probably looked pretty silly but not caring. When she spoke again, he nodded eagerly in agreement. "Sure, I'll dance with you," he said quickly, "If you don't mind my horrible and embarrassing dance moves."
