"Yes, you pleased the teacher." Payton said smiling taking a seat next to him. She looked at the books flipping through some of the pages. "We are still going to continue cords, and scales need to master those before moving on to songs." she told him smiling pulling out her pencil.

Gale nodded and waited for her to start teaching. He actually enjoyed learning the notes, he just wished his hands weren't so big. Every time Payton and him would try and play cords together, his hands would reach to far and touch hers. It wasn't horrible, but it didn't help with the learning process.

An hour later the lesson was over, they had gone over more scales, and cords and she was shocked at how fast he was getting it. She smiled giving him another book to use to practice, "Are you hungry? We can go to the cafeteria." she said putting her stuff in her book bag.

Gale nodded, his stomach agreeing with him, making the loudest sound he had ever heard. "Yes, I am hungry," He said chuckling as he grabbed his backpack and jacket, placing the new book into his bag.

"Well good, let's go then." Payton said walking out of the music room. "How have you been since last time? Not going around kissing girls now are you?" she said with a giggle only kidding.

Gale laughed and shook his head. "I am not that brave you know," He said knowing he really wasn't. Besides she was the only girl lately that showed any interest in him that way.

"No? I would have thought with all those girls flocking you because you're foreign that you would try some moves on them." Payton teased him nudging him a bit as they walked. She saw the cafeteria come into view soon enough they were there opening the door walking in.

"Me? Are you sure we are talking about the same Russian guy?" Gale said knowing there was another guy from Russia. "Nah, I don't have many girls flocking in my direction," He admitted. He blushed as she nudged him, knowing he had only thought about one girl since the kiss. The hair on the back of his neck stood up, he knew the pair of eyes was watching yet again.

"I'm pretty sure I am." Payton said smiling to him walking in the cafeteria getting on the line to get food glancing back to him. "Are you okay?" she asked him grabbing a tray putting some food on her tray.

Gale shook the feeling off and nodded to her. "I though I felt something crawling on the back of my neck," He lied, reaching his hand around to feel, though he knew there was nothing there. "What looks good today?" He asked to change the subject.

"Oh alright." Payton said not really sure what was going on with him. She looked to the food smiling, "Burgers, pizza, the wraps look really good today actually." she told him grabbing one for herself.

Gale smiled "Pizza," He said almost drooling as he grabbed three slices of pepperoni. "Wraps are too healthy, I am a growing man," He joked as he grabbed a bowl of salad and vegetables.

"Says the man who grabs a salad and vegetables. Isn's that too healthy?" Payton asked smiling paying for her food before going to a table for them to sit at. She put her bag next to her, and started on her wrap looking to Gale blushing a little bit realizing she was staring.

Gale shrugged "I have to balance the pizza, or else it would be too much," He joked nudging his elbow into her arm. As he sat down he noticed her blush, "What?" He asked wondering if there was something wrong with his face.

"Well at least you're balancing it." Payton said laughing before shaking her head. "Nothing..." she told him with a kind smile taking another bite of her food.

Gale stared at her for a few minutes before digging into his pizza. "So how is your week going?" He asked her, wiping his mouth with a napkin. He looked around the cafeteria, seeing everyone in their own cliques and groups talking. He could feel the pair of eyes on him and probably Payton.

"Alright, had a few tests but I think I did pretty well as always." Payton said giggling taking his napkin wiping away some of the sauce he missed. "I was looking forward to seeing you again though." she told him before talking a sip of her drink.

"Well, knowing you, test are nothing." Gale teased, letting her wipe his face. He blushed taking a bite of pizza before he could answer. "I was too," He said wanting to finish the sentence but didn't want to admit how much he couldn't wait to see her.

Payton smiled a little bit leaning over kissing his cheek giggling. "Good, might have sounded weird if I was the only one to admit it." she told him smiling eating one half of her wrap.

Gales blush deepened as she kissed him, "I am glad you feel the same," He said feeling the eyes burn into the back of his neck. He reached around to rub his neck again, wishing the feeling would just leave, he wish they would leave.
