Dixie walked to the boys dorm. She was having a "sleep over" with Chase. She didn't really know why she did it because it really wasn't like her but she wanted to get know him more. she had a bag of clothes in her hand. She knocked on Chases door.

Chase had forced his roommate out for the night-he had company and a long night ahead of them planned. Well, as much as he planned. Which was just about 'Dixie is sleeping in my bed' and that was it. He didn't like to think too far ahead about anything, and this girl was no exception. Really. When she knocked, he jumped up from his computer chair and opened the door. "Hey beautiful," He began, leaning in for a kiss and then ushering her inside. "How are you?"

"Hi there hansome" Dixie said as she walked inside. "I'm gold which means good" she said with a smile. "How are you?" she asked flashing him a smile. She sat the bag down and walked over and sat on his bed. His bed was soft. "I just love you bed" she said

"Better, now that you're here," He chimed out almost musically, sitting down beside her and putting a gentle hand on her thigh. "Well I'm glad, you like it. It wouldn't be very good if you didn't like my bed. I couldn't let you sleep anywhere else."

"Well," Chase blew out a sharp breath, leaning back onto his forearms, not sure where to begin or how much to divulge. Most people weren't expecting brutal honesty when they asked that question. "My name's Chase and I like food and football. You?"

"Uhmm alright," Chase nodded, understandingly. Their last encounter had been much more physical and less communication, which was how Chase normally would have it. "I dunno, what do you want to know? What you see is what you get, pretty much."

"What about your family? Are you close to them? Do you have any siblings?" Dixie asked looking at him. She wanted to know him. Sure sex was great but she wanted to know stuff about him.

"Yeah I've got siblings. A sister and a handful of brothers. We're close as we can be, y'know. I'm here most of the time and they're back home." He shrugged lazily. "You?" He threw out, realizing most conversations were generally two-sided.

"Well my mom was a stripper when I was a kid so I went with her on her side sex jobs and no siblings. I'm an only child. I grew up thinking what my mom did was okay and even became a stripper for a bit. But then I realized I didn't want to be like my mom so I started woking in the café singing" she said.

"O-oh," Chase finally got out a recognizable syllable after she'd finished. It was a lot to take in very quickly and he was still working out parts of what she'd said. "I-I'm glad you stopped stripping-wait, did you like, give lapdances and stuff?" He asked curiously, after he altered where he'd been going with the sentence.

Dixie laughed. "Sorry" she said to him. "But yea I'm glad I did to. I like singing more and it helps people know about me as a singer. Maybe one day some reord. person will come in amd want me to make a record" she said with a small smile. She started to hum a song running her hands through his soft hair.

"That'd be really cool," Chase replied, giving her thigh a small, encouraging squeeze. It would be really cool hearing her sing on the radio, and that was certainly more impressive than being a stripper to most people. "Have you sent anything into the companies? Like a CD or something? You're definitely Top 40 material, Dixie."

Dixie shook her head. "I'm not really sure how. Yea I know you have to record it and stuff but I don't know. I guess I second guess myself if I'm good enough to be on the raido and if people would want to listen to me" Dixie said. She seemed confident about a lot of stuff but she still had things she wasn't so sure about.
