He laughed, "But now you already know, where's the fun in that?" he teased, soon pulling into her drive way and looking up at her house curiously. He hopped out of his truck and went to her, opening the door and helping her down.

"Well I don't know...but still." Sophie said smiling as they pulled up to the house getting down from the truck with his help. She took his hand leading him up to the house. "I hope you don't think I'm some rich snobby girl now that you've seen my house." she said laughing unlocking the door walking inside.

Jake laughed and followed her, "Naw, my house back home is this big too, my families pretty wealthy back home."

Sophie nodded smiling, "Okay good so you're used to this." she said laughing taking off her boots leaving them by the door. She went to the kitchen opening up the fridge to get the stuff out for the burgers. "Do you want anything to drink? We have water, soda, juice...beer too if you want one." she said smiling to him taking out a water bottle for herself.

Jake took off his boots and followed, sliding across the floor in his socks. "Anythings good for me babe, I'm not picky with what I eat or drink."

"Well you can help yourself then." Sophie told him smiling started to make the burgers. "Don't go falling now don't want you to hit your head either." He said teasing him.

Jake grinned, "I'll be perfectly fine." he went to the fridge and pulled out a root beer and took a swig from the can and sat by the counter.

Sophie smiled nodding soon putting the burgers in the pan letting them cook. She took some of the french fries and placed them in the oven. Waiting on the burgers to flip them she went over to him wrapping her arms around him. "After we eat we can watch a movie." She told him smiling kissing him.

Sophie smiled before kissing him more passionately only pulling away when the oven beeped. "Aw man." She said said laughing slowly pulling away from him taking out the fries. "Almost done." She said taking out plates for them.

"Mhm ill take you up on the offer." She told him smirking flipping the burgers. "Do you want cheese on yours?" She asked moving over getting the cheese out.

He nodded, "Sure, I'll eat whatever you make me. I'm not picky when it comes to food." he stretched and finished his pop and watched her.

Sophie nodded smiling, "Well that's always nice to know. You should try some of the British things we eat. I wonder if you'll like it." She said finishing up their plates bringing the plates to the table.

"Don't British people only eat little sandwiches and cookies with tea?" he asked teasingly, "Oh, and fancy fish sticks?" he followed her and gently kissed her cheek then went and sat at the table.

"Nu uh! That's only around tea time sometimes." Sophie told him smiling kissing his cheek. "Sit down and eat I'll get you another drink." She told him walking back in the kitchen to get him another root beer.

Sophie came back giving him his drink, "Nu uh, we eat a lot lf fish. But it's good for you." She said smiling starting to eat her burger. "We have a holiday where we get to make and eat pancakes all day."

Sophie giggled taking a sip of her drink looking to him, "It's called Shrove Tuesday, the day after Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. It depends on when Easter is." she told him smiling. "But I mean hey a day where I can just eat pancakes? Hell yeah I'll take that. People get very creative with the kinds of pancakes they make." she told him taking another bite of her burger.
