"If you don't mind me asking....where are you from?" Austin asked glancing over to her before back to the view. "Do you see them for the holidays? Like Christmas and Thanksgiving?" he asked her messing up his hair smiling as the sun was setting. "Not long now until the stars come out." he told her getting his sweatshirt. "It's no problem I had to pay you back some how after you helped me." he told her laughing slightly handing over his sweatshirt. "I brought this when I saw you were a bit...underdress which is my fault. So i brought this in case you got cold." he told her blushing slightly.

Elizabeth shrugged, not minding his question. It was normal to want to know where someone came from. "I'm from South Africa," She said with a little nod. "I don't get to see them for the breaks. I just stay here, since my mother says it's a bit too far for her to want to send me back and forth. Do you go back for the holidays?" she asked, curiously. She blushed when he mentioned that she was a tad under dressed. She look down at what she was wearing, feeling as though she was definitely under dressed, on the brink of looking like a slut, in her opinion. She gratefully took the sweatshirt and slipped it on over her top. "Thanks," She said, giving him a little kiss on the cheek. "You know, you really didn't have to do this. I didn't really help you out that much."

"Oh wow that is far." Austin said nodding feeling bad she didn't or couldn't go back home for the holidays. "Well we just moved here a few days ago...so I don't need to go anywhere. My family isn't big." he told her. "Do you at least have family here to spend your holidays with?" he asked her before he knew it she kissed his cheek making his face go bright red. "Aw shucks." he said laughing looking down. "I wanted to do it. I'm hoping this means were friends, I could use some here at this school." he told her listening to the frogs and the crickets that were out tonight.

Elizabeth shook her head. "Nope, no family out here," She said as she laid back on the blanket, closing her eyes as she listened to the frogs croaking. It was so calming to hear them croak in unison. "And at least you have your family out here. So you all just completely up and moved? The horses and all?" she asked curiously, definitely able to see herself going out and riding with him more often. She felt awkward on the horse now, but something about it was just so amazing. She opened up her eyes, watching as the horses grazed. They were so gorgeous. "Of course we can be friends. I'm actually needing some friends myself, especially since I lost most of them this year."

"No family?! So where do you go for the holidays?" he asked her laying down looking up at the sky starting to see the stars starting to appear. "Yeah everything is moved up here. My mom got her horses here too, one of them is pregnant." he told her smiling. "How did you lose most of them? That doesn't sound like a good thing." he said scratching his stomach. "Hey look there's the big dipper." he said pointing up to it.

Elizabeth shrugged a bit. "I either stay on campus, or my parents pay for me to stay at a hotel on the beach. It may be freezing cold to go in the water during winter, but I still like to go fishing on the pier and walk along the beach," she said with a little smile. Summer was perfect for the beach, but winter was calming. The lack of tourists crowding the beach made it that much better. "Some blog went out, packed full of lies. They were trying to say that I hooked up with some guy and that I am a complete slut," she said, rolling her eyes. Being attractive did not make someone a slut. "So my friends just assumed that it was right and completely wrote me off. Sorry to inform you hun, but you are hanging out with one of the schools supposed whores," she sighed, looking up at the stars. She didn't even know if she should have told him that, but he would find out eventually. It was better to set things straight now.

Austin looked at her and smiled lightly, "Well hopefully by the holidays we are good friends because I want to invite you to our house for the holidays. No one should spend the holidays alone." he told her. He frowned when she told him about the blog, wow people we desperate to spread rumors and ruin peoples lives. "Well I don't believe it, I don't think you're a slut, far from one. You are a very beautiful strong independent woman." he told him sitting up a little bit. "And to be honest, if they were your true friend, they would have stood by your side and believed what you said, not what some stupid blog."

Elizabeth looked back him with a smile, blushing a little bit, "Thanks. I think I would like that," she said with a little nod, shivering a bit. Even though she was wearing his sweatshirt, the cold air was starting to get a little too cold for her taste. She sat up, crossing her arms in front of her chest to warm her up a bit. What he had to say only made her blush even more. "If I was a slut, I would have made a pretty bold pass at you already," she said with a giggle. He was a really handsome guy, so she was sure that if she was the kind of girl that hopped for one guy's pants to another, she would have shown her interest very clearly. "And I did make a friend out of the entire thing. I honestly think he is a much better friend than anyone I had before. The funny part is that he's the guy they claimed I slept with."

Austin sat up seeing her shiver not really knowing what else to do, he didn't want her to be cold. He moved a bit closer and wrapped his arm around her to help warm her up. "I'm not trying to make a move...just trying to warm you up a bit." he told her laughing. "Well I mean you made a friend, and he'll probably be good friends with you for a while because he knows the truth." he told her smiling. "Don't read that blog anymore, you don't need to put up with that crap." he told her.

Elizabeth looked at him, laughing a little bit. It was sweet of him to clarify that he was, in fact, not trying to make a move on her. She immediately had a feeling that he was probably completely innocent. Just by the way he acted, he had never been with a girl before. "Thanks," she said, cuddling up to him a bit to keep herself warm. "Did you have a girl back home?" she asked curiously, kind of wondering how right she was about her assumption.

Austin frowned slightly when she asked him about having a girl back him, he didn't really talk about it with anyone else but his folks. "Yeah, I did. Her name was Jessica." he told her looking down. "We were dating for almost two years...and well the usual, she cheated on me with someone else." he said letting out a sigh. "She wanted to have sex...and well..." he trailed off blushing. "I wanted to wait some more to make sure I loved her. I didn't just want to have sex...I wanted to make love to her. So safe to say I'm a virgin." he told her looking over to the horses a bit embarrassed to even be telling her this.

Elizabeth couldn't say that she was surprised to find out that he was a virgin, she had kind of expected that one. She wasn't going to verbalize that she had original thought that, though. She gave him a little nod, unable to believe that any woman loved sex so much that she was willing to give him up. "Hey, you seem like a really sweet guy. If any girl is willing to think so much about what's going on in her pants instead of being with a guy that really cares for her, then she isn't worth your time," she said, giving him a gentle smile. "One day you will find that girl that is worth giving something so special like that to. Let me know when you find her, though, so that I can make sure she is good enough for you."

Austin gave her a small smile nodding, "Yeah it just hurts you know? I didn't think she would ever do that it just came out of no where." He said looking up at the sky. "I will, who knows if I will meet someone like that here. Tidewater has it's fair share of whores." He said frowning a bit. "I'm not really looking for anyone at the moment, bit if I happen to do find someone I'll be sure you let you know." He said giving her a one arm hug.

"Girls can be pretty unpredictable," Elizabeth sighed, knowing that she had done her fair share of hurtful things. Never anything to that degree, though. "I doubt you will meet someone like that here," she admitted, well aware of how the girls at Tidewater were. "All people really want is sex these days. I can almost guarantee that there isn't a single girl at tidewater that isn't a whore, a slut--because they are two different things--hasn't had sex, or hasn't done most sexual things with a guy. Nobody is 'innocent' here," she said, giving him a little half-hug back. "Would you mind if I were to strap a lie detector to her and ask her a ton of questions?" she said with a little giggle. "And she get's an electric shock every time she lies...for my amusement."

"I know I probably won't met any like that here. I'm probably the only virgin, boy wise." Austin said with a small chuckle as he laid back down again staring up at the stars. He smiled looking at her when she spoke about attaching the girl to the lie detector and using a shock every time she lied. "You know that might be a good idea, but we will see first." he told her laughing. "Can I do that do the guy you're interested in?" he asked raising a brow. "Well that is if you're not already seeing a guy." he added putting his hands behind his head.

"I know maybe one other virgin that's a boy," Elizabeth said with a smile, rolling onto her stomach so that she would still be laying down, but could actually look at him while she talked. "If I ever find a guy to be interested in, then you can definitely do that to them. We will video tape it and everything. We could even have it part of the wedding video collage when him and I get married," she teased, shaking her head. She didn't find it likely that she would find a guy, though. Most of the guys at Tidewater were jerks, or taken. "And no, I'm not seeing a guy," she shrugged, "None have really appeared to have much interest."

Austin laughed picturing it now, "Oh yeah. I think he will defiantly love to see that in the wedding video." he said smiling looking over at her. "You Miss Elizabeth doesn't have a boyfriend? I would think someone as pretty as you they would have snatched you up by now." he told her smiling before looking up at the stars. "You know...there are about two hundred to four hundred billon stars in our galaxy...but when you look up at the sky you can't see them all...like they all look separated and stuff." he told her.

Elizabeth giggled a little bit. "I actually did have a boyfriend. Same party I was at when I supposedly 'hooked up' with a guy, I found him with another girl. It was actually his party," she shrugged, not really caring too much. She had felt like shit at the time, but realized that clearly he wasn't worth her time if he was going to go off and sleep with other women. She really didn't take the whole thing as tough as she thought she would. "But I figured that if he can't keep it in his pants, he isn't the guy for me. He was trash," she said before looking back up at the stars. "I actually heard that the stars are so far away that when he finally see their light here on earth, they have already died. It's kind of sad, you know?"

Austin frowned, "Yeah that guy sounded like a dick, you deserve so much better. Every girl does, I believe if you're with a girl and you really care about her, you should treat he like a queen." he told her sighing. "It's sad how guys treat girls these days, it gets me so mad sometimes when I see it." he said looking over at her. "Yeah I've heard that before. But just think there are more to take it's place. It's like never ending." he said letting out a long deep sigh. "I'm kinda lazy right now to get up and start heading back to the stables." he told her laughing.

"He was a dick," Elizabeth said with a little snort, looking up at the stars. "He called the cops to break up his own party, because he wanted everyone out of there," she rolled her eyes, curling up to him a bit, resting her head on his chest. "I'm not making a move, just trying to stay warm...and I like to cuddle." Her eyes moved to him, a little smile playing across her lips. "Oh, like it's so hard to ride a horse back! It's not even like we have to walk," she laughed, feeling a tad bit lazy herself. She was too comfortable here with him.
