Austin laughed lightly walking with her to his black dodge pick up truck, a bit muddy from going to the stables the other day, hope she didn't mind. "You'll see, don't want to ruin the surprise do we now?" he said raising a brow opening the passengers door. "Here you go ma'am." he said helping her in. "Watch your step." he told her, and once she was in closing the door carefully. Going to the other side getting in, glad his truck didn't smell like horse shit, thank god his momma stuck an air freshener in here when he wasn't looking at some point. He started up the truck, and started to drive to the special place he was taking her. "Ah, sounds like she's a nice friend." he said only kidding. Smiling as he drove licking his lips, "Well after you left I did my homework, and when I finished I had some time so I decided to wonder campus a bit." he told her. "But I didn't wonder too far, didn't want to get lost again." he added with a laugh glancing over at her. "Found a nice tree to sit under to relax on some days though."

Elizabeth giggled a little bit as she followed him. "No, I guess not. I do like surprises though," she said, blushing a little bit when he actually opened the door for her. "Why thank you, sir," She said a she climbed in. She had to admit that she was extremely impressed with how much of a gentleman he was. Clearly his mom raised him right. It was too cute. She watched as he climbed in, buckling herself up. His truck just screamed 'good ol' country boy', but she didn't mind. "Is it the tree by the track?" She asked, that being her favorite spot to sit and read when it was nice out. She preferred to be outside and admire the scenery. It was so much calmer than staying in her cluttered dorm room.

"Actually yeah it is." he said smiling thinking back to the tree, "Get a nice view, of the school from there, and it's peaceful when no one is using the track for practice or anything." he told her nodding. They were soon pulling up the dirt road towards the stables where he kept his horse, "So...I hope you're not afraid of horses because from here that is our form of transportation." he told her parking the truck looking at her before getting out of the truck. Austin walked over to her side, and opened the door helping her out. "I had someone saddle up my horse and one of the other horses for us when I told them I'd be here with a friend around this time. Don't worry I made sure I picked a real friendly horse for you." he told her holding out his arm for her once more.

"Aw, you're tying to steal my tree," Elizabeth teased, looking out the window as they pulled out onto a dirt road. She had never been this far out from the school. It was kind of nice that she could actually see the stars in the sky instead of the smog that hovered over the town. She looked at him in surprise when he mentioned horses. She had actually never even been around a horse. It was kind of exciting, and terrifying, to think that she would be riding one. "You are going to have to show me what to do," she said, kind of worried about falling off. She grabbed his arm to help steady her as she climbed out. "I've never even seen a horse in person."

"Never been around horses? Oh lord you're missing out!" he said laughing leading here to where they had the horses. "They might seem really big right now, but if you come around them more often you get used to it." he said letting go of her and patting his horse. "This is Buddy, he's my horse, and the one you will be riding is Woody. "He's kinda old, but that's good so you don't have to worry about controlling him he will just follow me." he said smiling patting the horse next to his. "You can come up and pet them if you'd like they won't bite. I'll even give you carrots you can feed them." he told her going over grabbing a two carrots for them.

Elizabeth looked up at the horses with amazement. She went over to the horse that she was meant to ride, hesitantly reaching up and stroking it's mane. It was so beautiful. "Woody," she said, looking into it's eyes, letting out a little giggle. All of a sudden she felt incredibly under dressed; in the sense that she should have been wearing pants instead of shorts. She really wished he would have told her what to wear. Elizabeth looked over at Austin, still amazed that he even owned horses out here. "They are huge," she said, never having thought in her wildest dreams that a horse would be so incredibly massive. Explains how they used to be able to haul around carriages.

Austin smiled and couldn't help but watch her as she walked up to Woody petting him. He fed his horse a carrot before holding out the other carrot to Elizabeth. "Here feed it to Woody." he said smiling giving it to her and walked his horse out opening the gate to the open field. He knew that he would stay, so he moved back over to Elizabeth smiling, "Ready? We don't have much time." he told her patting Woody double checking that the tack was good before looking over at her checking her out, she was absolutely beautiful and he couldn't help but blush.

"Thanks," Elizabeth nodded as she took the carrot from Austin. She looked back up at the massive horse in front of her, holding up the carrot and watched as he started munching away. Elizabeth giggled when woody had eaten away the carrot and place his mouth against her hand. "Yeah, I'm ready," she said, looking over at him and noticing that he was just staring at her. It made her blush a little bit, making her more and more aware of the fact that she should have worn more clothing. "What?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.

Austin shook his head as he was caught, and placed his cowboy hat on him, "Nothing...I just think you're very beautiful." he told her with a small smile taking Woody leading him out to the field as well. "Come over here and let me help you up on Woody and then we can go." he told her holding Woody in place for a moment before waiting for her to come over so he could help her mount the horse.

Elizabeth's blush grew a brighter red. "Thanks, cowboy. I've got to admit; You're pretty handsome yourself," she said as she followed him over, not really sure how he was going to get her up there. The horse was absolutely huge. She looked him up and down, biting on her lip, before looking over at the horse. She continued to chew her bottom lip, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger. She was terrified of heights, but she wasn't going to just out and tell him that.

"Really? I didn't think so." Austin said smiling getting the small stairs that they had for people who needed to use them to get on the horse. "This way ma'am." he said holding out his hand to her seeing she was biting her lip. "Don't bite your lips, it ruins those pretty lips of yours." he said smiling. "Don't worry I won't let anything happen to you." he told her still keeping Woody in place.

"Well I think so," Elizabeth said with a little smile. She looked over at him, hesitantly reaching out and taking his hand as she made her way up the stairs and swung her leg up and over the horse. She let his hand go in order to position herself, immediately gripping onto the horse when she wiggled a little to prevent herself from falling. Elizabeth took a deep breath, slowly letting go of the horse and straightening herself up. "You know that when woody starts moving I am going to die, right? Heights and I aren't the best of friends," she said with a giggle, her cheeks flushing a deep red. She felt like a complete idiot for being so scared to ride a horse. This is a neat experience, she told herself. You are riding around on a beautiful, tall, and stinky animal with a really cute guy. Buck up!

Austin laughed, looking up to her, "You won't die. I told you he will follow my horse. All you need to do is hold the reins and this horn." he said placing her hands on the horn of the saddle. "I promise you won't die." he told her smiling. He moved to his horse, quickly mounting with ease moving forward a bit looking back see Woody start to follow. "Look see not so bad. Plus where we need to go isn't far from here so you'll be okay." he told her and started to move forward.

Elizabeth listened to his instructions, placing her hand on the horn of the saddle and grabbing a hold of the reins. "Used to it or not, how in the hell can you just hop up on something that massive so....gracefully?" she said, clinging tight onto the horn as they started to move, still afraid to fall. No matter what he said, she was still scared out of her mind. As she started to relax, the whole entire thing actually became fun. She perked up a little bit, a big smile spreading across her lips. The way the horse walked was so graceful; it made her feel like she was floating across the land.

"See." Austin said smiling to her moving next to her looking over at her. "I don't know how you're going go get down." he said with a small laugh picturing that it would probably be pretty funny to watch. He looked ahead as they went into the forest, "Not too far from here." he said leading them to a place he just found out about the other day. He smiled when he saw the view, "Here we go." he said as he came across the lake, and at perfect timing too. The sun was just right the way it hit the lake or whatever this place was. It was beautiful and he knew that she would absolutely love it here. ((Here's the view: ))

"It's okay. I'll just fall off or something to get down," Elizabeth said with a little giggle, shaking her head. That would be funny, but extremely painful. Elizabeth patted the horse as it continued to follow his, looking up when it stopped. Her jaw dropped at the sight of the sunset over the lake, it was amazing. "Oh my god. It's so gorgeous!" she said, any other words stuck in her throat. She had never seen a sight so gorgeous in her life, except for when she would go to the beach. "Some time you and I should go to the beach at sunrise." she said as she looked at him with a gentle smile.

Austin hopped down off his horse looking to the view and moved over to help her down. "Isn't it? Just wait when the sun goes down...and all you can see are the stars. It's very nice." he told her smiling looking up to her. He was happy she liked the view, he wasn't trying to impress her, he wasn't looking for anything from her just friendship. "Alright so you're going to swing your leg over and keep this one in the stirrup and I'll help you from there." he told her.

Elizabeth nodded, listening to his instructions. She carefully pushed up from the saddle a bit, releasing her right foot from the stirrup before swinging her leg over, keeping a good grip on the saddle itself. The whole entire process was going kind of slow and awkward, but it was worth it to prevent herself from falling off. When her right foot finally touched the ground, she released her left foot, feeling very accomplished when she had both feet on the ground. It was really odd to be walking on her own to feet again after that. "Yay! I didn't die," She giggled, giving him a little half hug. "Thanks for bringing me here. It's really amazing," she said, pulling back away from him to look back over the lake.

Austin stood by where she would be getting off the horse to make sure she wouldn't fall, and if she did he would have been there to help her. He chuckled when she mentioned that she didn't die coming down. "See what did I tell you?" he said making sure the horses were good and busy grazing on the grass. He blushed slightly when she gave him a half hug, "It's no problem really...I wanted to share and thought you would appreciate it rather than some other girls at Tidewater." he told her putting down a blanket for them to sit on. He took a seat on the blanket and looked at the view, "It's views like that that remind me of home...you know? It's sometimes the simple things nature shows us that make me realize what a beautiful world we live on."

Elizabeth gave him a little smile, sitting down on the blanket next to him. "It kind of reminds me of home, too," She said as she looked over at him, tilting her head a bit. "I miss home.." She hadn't even realized how much she did miss her family. They had chosen to send her to America in order to allow her to experience a different part of the world. "My family is really far away. This place just reminds me of when we used to go on outings together," she said, blushing a little bit. "I really appreciate you bringing me here."
