She wears dresses everyday because for religious purposes, she was never allowed to wear pants before. Now that she's in Cali, they just seem more appropiate. Her style is vintage with a drop of Russian doll. Here's her pin board:

Personality: Yulia is anti-social. She looks shy, but she's slowly analyzing everyone around her. There will be people she likes, and there will be people she despises and will have homocidal thoughts about. Deep down, she wants to have friends and be happy. In Russia, she was not happy at all. She's afraid of getting hurt again and hides it.
History: Yulia came to Tidewater High as a different woman than who she was at her school in Moscow. Kids used to tease her and pick on her and insult her, even after her massive transformation from duckling to swan. When her only true friend, her cousin Alexi, died unexpectedly of a drug addiction, Yulias father decided to send her to the US for the remainder of school.
Through the years, she suffered through trauma. Her mother left them when she was young and since then, she was doing all the "women jobs" around the house. When she didn't do something the precise way her mother did, her father would go into a rage while her brother watched and couldn't do anything.
School wasn't much better either. She was constantly tormented for her looks.

Seeing her mother leave, her father go crazy, her classmates tormenting her, and her cousin dying, Yulia tried to commit suicide. Instead, she began to cut herself.

She spent the summer in St. Petersburg training in many arts of self defense and revenge until she could pretty much staple her hand without even flinching. If any one messed with her, she would not tolerate it. She hopes in her American school to have friends and to meet "the one"
