I guess to build yourself up so high,
You had to take her and break her down.
Name: Haven Giselle Cade
Age & Birthday: Seventeen, November 16
Gender: Female
Year: Junior

Status: Single
Roommate/Room: Serenity, Room 202
Appearance/Playby: Susan Coffey

She laid her heart and soul right in your hands.
"This is Haven, my girlfriend." She hated when he said that, introduced her to people like that. She wasn't his girlfriend. Well, not by choice. Alex was her boyfriend, at least according to him. He always introduced her that way, and if she dared deny the fact, he would grow extremely angry. If he was angry, she always paid for it, sooner or later. After covering bruises and pain for weeks, Haven began to accept her new "relationship" and never denied it when asked if Alex was her boyfriend. She had to accept the fact that she had to share a bed with him if she wanted to go unharmed for the night. She forced herself to accept that she wasn't her own person anymore; she was Alex's person. He controlled her. He always would.
It lasted for five months. The months were not all filled with pain. After one, the rest felt numb. Physically, she could not feel the pain when he hit her or forced her into bed anymore. She had grown used to it, although emotionally she could never stop hurting. It all stopped when he was screaming at her angrily in his bedroom, pissed at her for not telling him that her new Biology partner was a male. She felt stupid; she knew it was something she should have told him. He was her boyfriend, wasn't he? She was supposed to tell him everything. He had a right to be angry at her, didn't he? He slapped her hard just as his older brother walked into the room. That's when it ended. The cops had been called, and Alex was arrested after a long day at the police station with Haven. When people found out at school, they began to stare at her, whispering behind her back. Seeing how embarrassed and upset she was, her mother and father thought it would be better for her to switch schools and start over. Perhaps a boarding school would be better, where she could live along her classmates and have a better chance of making friends. Haven herself wasn't sure, but she felt the need to do this. It would please her parents, she was sure.
And you stole her every dream, and you crushed her plans.
Likes: Animals, being outside, warm days, flowers and foliage, fruits, vegetables, science, movies and stories with talking animals, sleeping, music, the color green, swimming, hiking, tea, playing piano
Dislikes: Meat and some animal byproducts, companies that test on animals, animal abuse and neglect, parties, large crowds, public speaking, confrontation and violence, math, drinking
She never even knew she had a choice.
Bashful: As a painfully shy person, it is almost impossible for Haven to start a conversation with someone she has not met yet. Although, she will attempt to continue any conversation that anyone starts with her, even if she is extremely nervous.
Outdoorsy: Being an extreme animal and nature lover, Haven can often be found outside bird watching or admiring the flowers. She absolutely cannot spend her time trapped inside on a beautiful day, no matter what the season.
Easy-going: Haven can be described as a laid-back and carefree individual. Generally, she is very easy to get along with, and she prefers to live a "drama-free" life.
Sensitive: Haven is usually extremely vulnerable and insecure, and tends to take things very personally. She is very thin-skinned and can begin to cry easily when her feelings are hurt, especially by those she cares about.
And that's what happens when the only voice she hears is telling her she can't.
Friends: none
Enemies: none
Crush: none
