Love hurts whether it's right or wrong.
She felt sick. It wasn't just the strong cramps in her abdomen. She felt physically and emotionally ill; she wanted to puke, and she knew she probably would later. She deserved to be sick. It was her fault. She hugged the pillow tightly, laying in the backseat of her cousin's car. She felt him drape a blanket over her even though she was hot and sweating. He was looking down at her with pity, and she felt angry that it wasn't a look of disgust on his face. She deserved a look of disgust, didn't she? "You didn't need a baby, Kinley," he tried to soothe her, "It's okay. It was your choice." Her stomach dropped at his words, which had made her feel even worse. No one needs a baby, she thought bitterly. But so many people wanted them, and she had just thrown hers away. Before it had even been born. It hadn't had the chance to live yet. She realized that she was referring to her unborn child as an it. She would never find out if it was a boy or a girl. She would never hold that innocent baby in her arms. Why did she even care? It was her choice, after all. She felt her stomach lurch again, and she leaned over the edge of the back seat, releasing her breakfast onto the floor of her older cousin's brand new car.
Fast forward a few months, and Kinley is more focused on school than cheerleading and gymnastics. In fact, she has vowed that she is no longer allowed to enjoy the two things she loves as a punishment to herself for being so selfish. Why should she be allowed to enjoy cheerleading and gymnastics in her life when her baby hadn't even been allowed to enjoy breathing? Although she is doing better in school, she still enjoys using her free time to party, drink, and generally wreak havoc.
I can't stop, 'cause I'm having too much fun.
Likes: boys, parties, drinking, dancing, summer, coffee, cigarettes, dressing up, cats, massages, yoga, tanning, the beach, the pool, gymnastics
Dislikes: "male" sports, winter, bad hair days, rejection, homework, lazy people
You're on your knees beggin' "please stay with me."
Vain: Although she knows she is far from perfect as a person, Kinley is fairly certain that her body and looks are. And she is not afraid to let anyone else know it either.
Possessive: Kinley can get pretty nasty when she feels that someone is moving in towards something or someone that is hers. However, she is not a fan of relationships and doesn't usually like to stick labels on her 'casual friendships.'
Sociable: Although you may not always find her in her classes, Kinley would not miss a party or social event on campus. She is extremely outgoing, although not all that friendly.
Stubborn: It's no secret that Kinley can definitely be stubborn. When she sets her mind to something, whether it be that she's not going to do something or that she doesn't like someone, there's no way she's changing her mind.
But honestly, I just need to be a little crazy.
