Ciera wondered to herself if visiting Stefan's dorm was such a good idea, they hadn't talked in a while and considering last time hadn't ended on a positive note, she hoped everything would be okay. They were suppose to be friends, so they should able to make it through this speed bump in their friendship. She tugged at the hem of her gray sweater then knocked on his door, nervously pulling her hair over her shoulder. If he wouldn't be happy to see her, she could just use his jacket as an excuse for her coming over, since he had left it in her dorm and she didn't have any need for it.

Stefan groggily stared ahead of him, having taken the absolute best nap of his life. For the most part, he was still enjoying that nap. But he was beginning to wake up, unfortunately. Oh well. He rubbed his nose with the back of his hand and clicked his tongue sleepily in his mouth. Just as he thought he would fall asleep again, there was a gentle knocking from his door. He grunted and rolled his eyes, taking his time in getting up and walking to the door. He scratched his bare chest and adjusted his basketball shorts, stumbling over his feet while going to the door. Opening it, he came across an infamous face he hadn't seen enough of, "Ciera," he said, furrowing his eyebrows. "What are you doing here?"

Ciera looked at him quietly and couldn't help but wonder just how she had been attracted to the man in front of her, sure he was very cute, but now he just didn't seem to make her feel like she use to. She mentally shook herself and held up his jacket for him to see. "I was coming to return this."

Stefan blinked down at his bare chest, "Oh, uh--" he quickly grabbed a plain grey shirt from the hook attached to the door, tugging it on over his head. That was awkward. This was awkward. Their friendship hadn't ended on a very good note and he was curious as to why she as choosing to prolong the awkwardness. His question was answered when she spoke and held out the jacket he had forgotten about months ago, "...Thanks," he said awkwardly, shifting around, "How are you?" he asked, attempting small talk as he wandered into his room to put the coat down. "How's life?"

"Good, better than ever really." She replied, staying in his doorway, not quite sure whether to follow him in or not. "Everything's been going good. How about you? I haven't seen you around much."

Stefan nodded slowly, studying the petite blonde before him. She looked... different, in a way. Not that she cut her hair short or fattened up or anything in that matter. But he noticed the way her pale skin glowed with joy and how bright her eyes seemed in general. It made his momentarily hard gaze soften, "I'm fine. Same old, same old," he replied, shrugging his shoulders. "What've you been up to?" he asked awkwardly, easily able to see that the past ease between them was gone.

"Same old same old? That's descriptive." she said teasingly, trying to lighten the mood as she slowly walked into his room and looked around, realizing that this had been the first time that she had ever been in there. "Not much, just making new friends and stuff." she couldn't help but think of Aaron, a smile spreading across her lips.

Stefan smiled coyly, "Thank you, I take pride in my descriptive speaking," he replied, smirking as she entered. He wandered to his bed and plopped down, arching a brow at her, "I'm glad. Your old ones were horrible," he said, frowning at the old memories. "I hear you have a boyfriend; Arnold? Bart? Something like that?" he said, knitting his eyebrows as he trying to recall the name he didn't even know in the first place. Though he recognized the guy's face, just enough so he could keep an eye on him... Only when they crossed paths, of course.

Ciera rolled her eyes. "Yes I do. His name is Aaron. I'm surprised you don't remember that fact so you can stalk him." she said sarcastically, but hoped he wouldn't flip out about it and get over protective.

Stefan narrowed his eyes, "No I didn't remember his name," he replied. Now that she said it, he faintly recalled her mentioning him sometime back. Clearly, he'd forgotten it now. "And for your information, I don't stalk people. I'm just trying to look out for people who can't do that themselves," he added, huffing. Bad way to live life, but he couldn't help it.

Ciera sighed. "I can take care of myself Stefan. I swear, sometimes it feels like you're smothering me. Please, don't blow all of this out of proportion."

"I'm not blowing anything out of proportion," Stefan argued, though kept his tone calm. She didn't understand. He just didn't want to see anybody he cared about getting hurt. Was that too much to want in life?

She just shrugged and ran a hand through her hair. "Then why do you always get mad when I talk to boys other than you? I know we're friends and you want to look out for me, but really, I need more than just one other person." she said softly.

Stefan raised a brow, "I'm not mad. I'm just annoyed that you think I am," he replied, frowning, "And I know that, I'm not as stupid as you think," he added, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

She sighed softly. "I don't think you're stupid Stefan, you just confuse me sometimes."

Stefan sighed, rubbing his temples, "I'm not trying to confuse you, Ci," he said, looking down at the petite blonde. "Just... Just do what you want Ciera. If you really want me to leave you alone, I will," he continued with a shrug. If she really didn't seem to enjoy his presence that much, he was perfectly okay with just being completely out of her life.

Ciera shook her head. "I want to be your friend Stef, but you'll just have to get use to me making new friends and having a boyfriend." She said slowly, trying to get her thoughts right.

Stefan huffed, crossing his arms irritably, "Make all the friends you want. If you really think I'm stopping you, then don't talk to me. It's not like that should be very hard for you," he replied, rubbing his neck.

"That's not what I'm trying to say at all!" She exclaimed and ran a hand through her hair. "I want to keep talking with you, I don't want to lose you as a friend."

"Then what do you expect me to do? I don't want to see you get hurt either," Stefan said. "Maybe... Maybe I should just go," he averted his gaze, looking at his shoes awkwardly and kicking the ground.
