Selena smiled and watched their dogs, always patting Maxi affectionately on the head whenever he brought the frisbee back. "About two years now, I got him when he was a puppy from my parents. They breed Border Collies, how long have you had Sandy? She's a beautiful dog."

Dominick nodded watching Maxi, "He's a beautiful dog as well." he said before looking to Sandy. "I rescued her from the pound four years ago. She was already a year old when I rescued her, apparently the people who had her before said she got too big...pffft." he said with a small eye roll calling her over petting her pulling her to his lap. "She's the sweetest thing ever especially around my niece." he told her.

Selena rolled her eyes when he told her about Sandy's past owners. "That's ridiculous, some people need to think through their actions before doing them." she smiled as Maxi sat by her then held out her hand to Sandy to sniff. "She's beautiful, I love her eyes." she smiled softly then looked at Dominick, "How old is your niece?"

"I know really, if my apartment was big enough I would probably adopt every dog." Dominick told her laughing watching Sandy lick Slenas hand before her face. "She's two. And a handful at that." he said shaking his head. "But I love her."

"So's Maxi." she laughed softly and scratched Sandy under her chin. "I want a lot of dogs when I get a big enough place." she said and smiled, "I just want a lot of animals really."

"Eventually you will." Dominick said getting out the bowl and poured in the water for the dogs. "So what do you like to do besides making kids lives miserable at school?" He asked smiling.

She rolled her eyes and playfully flicked his shoulder. "I love to write short stories and eat fudge, I really like fudge," she couldn't help but lick her lips at the thought of it, "I also adore reading, I sew and embroider, and I love watching any kind of murder shows or paranormal shows."

"Eat fudge really? I know a great place that makes probably the best fudge in the whole state of California." Dominick said smiling. "It's like an hour drive to get there, but totally worth it. They have really good ice cream too, all homemade." he added. "You like reading? Me too. What are some of your favorite books?" he asked her thinking it was kinda weird to actually hold a conversation other then dirty stuff, or flirting being involved.

She licked her lips, "I'll have to go there sometime then, it sounds like Heaven." she relaxed when he asked about books, a topic that she knew a lot of book, though she hoped she wouldn't sound like a geek or anything when she told him. "Well, I love the Hunger Games trilogy, the Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa, anything that involves Beauty and the Beast, and, well, I adore the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy."

"I'll take you sometime for a date. It can be a road trip." Dominick told her smiling listening to the books she was naming off. "Oh sure you read the porn book." he said laughing shaking his head. "You know how many girls in my class read that book...and then probably day dream about me in that book with them?" he asked raising a brow smiling. "So you like the more modern books that are out these days am I correct?" he asked.

Selena rolled her eyes, "It wasn't that bad, there were like, five sex scenes. It's mainly about how messed up the man, Christian Grey, is mentally messed up and she starts to fall in love with him, it's story line is great. But yes, I do like some of the more modern books." she replied.

Dominick wanted so hard to kiss her right now, he was so close to her and he felt like he could but he just couldn't do it. Moving away from here standing up on his own two feet watching the dogs for a moment as he stretched.

Selena blinked in surprise and sat back, watching him stand and started to question what had just been happening. She knew they had been flirting, which she liked, and if they had kissed, she wouldn't have minded. It was about time that she had started trying to date again, she didn't want to be the lady who owned fifty cats and lived in a tiny apartment. Even if there was the chance that there would be no relationship with Dominick, she still wanted to try, even though they had just met, she already liked him a lot.

Looking at the time Dominick cleared his throat, "I think its about time we round up these pups and take them home." he said smiling calling Sandy over. "Maybe they'll sleep well tonight considering all the exercise they did today." he said smiling petting Sandy.
