Selena nodded, "No kidding, and the kids who have actually good ideas, never speak up." she rubbed her forehead, "it's sad to me." she looked towards the cafe and half smiled, "I usually come here after work."

"Yeah? It's pretty good I come here for lunch usually get some work done." Dominick told her holding the door open for her. "Until students see me and start bugging me especially the girls asking all these questions." he said with a chuckle.

"Yeah asking personal questions it's weird." Dominick said laughing nodding, "Yeah I've heard about it too...me and that new health teacher." he said shaking his head. "They do realize I can't date them right? I don't think so they are in some kind of fantasy." he said smiling standing on line looking at what he should get.

"I think they've just been seeing too many romance movies," she replied, looking ahead at the display cases that showcased the freshly made goodies, a particular chocolate muffin catching her attention and making her lick her lips, "student can't seem to understand that most teachers don't want to loose their jobs or go to jail over a little fling, they need to stick to people their own age."

"Must be all that Shakespeare I'm teaching them. Those hopeless romantic stories." Dominick said with a small smile as he picked out a panini and added a water bottle to the order. "Decide on what you're getting? Please allow me to pay for it since I did ask you to come with me." he told her giving her another charming smile fighting his eyes to not look her over, but to meet her eyes and to hold her gaze.

"But don't many of his stories end in death? That doesn't seem like a very good ending to any love story." Selena looked up, gazing back into his eyes. Part of her wanted to reject his offer and be an independent woman, but the other part of her wanted to sway and let herself be taken care of. In the end it was the second part of her that had won out. "Well...alright." she picked out a hot chocolate with peppermint and the chocolate muffin, not once taking her eyes from his, seeming captivated by his gaze.

"I know that, the students don't. I'm lucky if they read through the whole story." Dominick said smirking as he was able to keep her gaze, leaning forward slightly as if he was going to kiss her but grabbed a water bottle instead. Smiling to her before breaking their gaze and turned to pay for their things pulling out his wallet. Once paid for he put his wallet back in his back pocket turning his attention back to her. "Let's go grab a table, or a booth." he said hoping their was a booth open, only for them to sit a little bit closer to each other so he could get his flirt on.

Ciera stared after him then got her hot chocolate and muffin, wondering just how cheeky this guy was. "Either table or booth would be nice." she looked around the small cafe, seeing a tiny booth in the corner by a window that looked out at the street.

Dominick nodded looking over to the booth she was also looking at. "I think we found a winner." He said with a smile walking over to the booth taking a seat. He looked to her knowing he wouldn't be able to try anything since students were around. Maybe he'll ask her out on a date off the the campus where he would be able to really put his moves on her.

Selena followed and slid into the booth, leaning back into the cushioned seats and sipping on her hot chocolate, happy that she could finally take some time to relax. It had seemed since the school year started that she hadn't been able to sit back and take a breather, it had always been work work work and nothing else.

Dominick watched her for a moment before starting to eat his food. After a few bites and taking a sip of his water he looked back to her seeing as she was more relaxed now. "So are you married...? Have kids?" He asked which was kinda of a stupid question because she didn't have a ring on her finger but he didn't know what else to ask at the moment.

Dominick nodded, "Ah I see...I haven't been married yet, engaged yes but not married. No kids either but I do want them. I see my niece all the time she's the cutest thing." he told her with a smile pulling out his phone showing her a picture of her and him. "Oh and while the phone is out I mean I guess you should put your number in their as well." he said with a small smirk before taking another bite of his panini.

Selena smiled softly when she saw his niece "Aw, she's adorable." she blinked in surprise when he asked for her number, her smile widening. "Well, aren't you a sly one...I suppose I could put in my number." she said as she added it in and gave back his phone. "So you were engaged?" she couldn't help but ask as she took a sip from her hot chocolate, but quickly set it down as it burnt her tongue and stung her throat as she swallowed it. "Oh damn, that's hot." she coughed.

"She is...she's a funny one too." he said as he watched her put her number in his phone looking at it before making himself call the number. "Just want to be sure it's your number and not someone else's." he told her with a smile taking a sip of his water before nodding. "Yes...day of the wedding found out she was cheating on me...with my best man and yeah." he said clearly his throat. "It happened over a year ago." he added before looking up to her as she burt her tongue. "Ouch, can't fix that one with a kiss you know." he told her only kidding, too soon to do any of that stuff yet he hasn't even taken her out on a proper date first.

Selena looked down as her phone went off, playing Blake Shelton's song called Boys' Round Here. She took it from her purse and shut it off. "Well, that's my legit number." she winced as he told her what had happened. "My husband cheated on me with one of our co-workers while we had been working at a high school up in Idaho. As soon as the divorce was final, I changed my last name back to my maiden one and came back here to be with my family." she couldn't help but blush when he talked about kissing her. "Um, I don't think so, we don't wanna move too fast, why I'm just an innocent lady out for free hot chocolate and a muffin." she said teasingly.

"Well I think I like your maiden name better anyway, the dick probably had an ugly last name to begin with. Can't put an ugly name on someone so beautiful such as yourself." he told her giving her a wink holding up his hands. "Hey I know...just saying if it was life or death situation I would totally kiss you to save you if that was the case." he told her with a small laugh.

Selena couldn't help but smile, she hadn't met anyone in a long time who could make her feel genuinely happy. "My last name when I was married to him was...well...Keintert, it really wasn't the best name. I spelt it wrong all the fricken' time." she blushed darkly at all of his compliments, "Thank you...and just so ya know, I would kiss you too if it was a life or death situation."

"Ew, see what kind of last name is that." Dominick said with a small laugh. "It's a douche of a last name so I don't expect you to spell it wrong." he said smiling as she blushed. "Really? Well I better make sure I have soft lips for you to kiss, if it ever happens." he told her playing wit the water bottle seeing students start to stare at them, whatever. "We should probably get going soon, don't want to make you miss your classes for the rest of the day. I'm done for today just have grading and shit to do." he told her.
