Because I'm too annoyed with the homecoming board, I have decided to continue Reed and Carly here. AND FUCK KINLEY AND ELI, THEY DON'T GET TO BE RPED AT HOMECOMING ANYMORE. KAY.Reed laughed and help open his arms to her. "Jump down and I'll catch ya, I promise I won't drop you or anything." he grinned. "Good, because I don't think I would ever forgive you if you dropped me," Carly laughed and leaned out of the truck to place her hands on his shoulders, just to be safe. She knew she probably wasn't high enough off the ground to really hurt herself if she fell, but she couldn't bear the thought of how embarrassing it would be. "I hope you're ready," she said as slid off of her seat out of the truck.

"I'm always ready." as soon as she jumped down Reed carried her away from the truck and before her feet touched the ground he spun in a quick circle.

Carly laughed as Reed spun, shaking her head. "Was that necessary? Or are you just showing off?" she teased, "You know I already feel extremely underdressed next to you still wearing your homecoming outfit."

Reed slowed to a stop and just held her off her feet. "I think it was very necessary," he replied seriously but smiled, "and there's no need for that worry, no one else is around, it's just us out here."

"Well as long as you think it was necessary," Carly said, laughing. She smiled and blushed slightly as she studied him for a second, realizing just how cute he was. "So um, are you going to put me down or are you going to hold me all night?"

"Well, you are pretty lite, I could carry you." he grinned and started walking towards the stables, making sure he wouldn't trip and fall over anything, because that'd mean he would smash her by accident, and smashing the first girl he had ever liked didn't seem like a very good thing.

"Oh, I'm not that light," she said, knitting her eyebrows together. Was he being sarcastic? She couldn't tell, but she hoped he wasn't. "You know, you don't have to carry me. I know how to walk now that I've changed my shoes," she said, laughing.

He rolled his eyes. "You're lighter than a feather Carly, seriously." he replied as he headed into the stables. "I'll set you down in a sec." He walked to where his horse Biscuit was and gently set her down, then got Biscuit ready to ride.

She shrugged her shoulders, watching him get Biscuit ready. "Your horse is nice, right?" she asked, eyeing it cautiously, "I mean, he's not going to like try to kill me, is he?"

Reed looked over at her and laughed softly, "He wouldn't hurt a fly, you'll be fine." he smiled and lead Biscuit of of his stall by his harness. Biscuit looked at Carly, blinking slowly and leaning forward, nuzzling her neck and resting his nose on her chest.

Carly laughed and started to pet Biscuit's nose slowly, although she still felt a bit nervous. "Actually, I think he likes me," she said, grinning at him.

Reed smiled back at her, "I knew he would. You wanna sit on him while I walk him outside? You'll just have to duck at the doorway."

Carly's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "By myself?" she squeaked, shaking her head at him. She patted Biscuit again before dropping her hand back to her side. "I don't think so."

He tilted his head, "Have you never ridden a horse before?" he asked as he slowly lead Biscuit outside.

She shrugged her shoulders, following him outside. "Honestly," she said slowly, "I've never even been this close to a horse before."

He nodded, "Huh, well, if you're gonna hang out with me,then you're gonna have to get use to it." he smiled teasingly and stopped Biscuit when the gout outside then went over to her. "To get on, put your right foot in the stirrup," he pointed to it, "then grab to pummel," he pointed to a knobby thing on the saddle, "and just hoist yourself up, putting your other leg across to the other side."

She nodded slowly, listening to him and looking carefully at the things he pointed to. "Okay," she said finally, "I mean, that seems a lot easier than it probably actually will be for me."

He laughed softly, "I'll help you out, it'll all be okay, I'll catch ya if you fall, or give you a boost."

"Okay, I'm trusting you," she said with a laugh, patting Biscuit absently again before raising her foot and sliding it into the stirrup, "And trust me, I'll be really unhappy with you if I fall."

"I won't let you fall." he replied, resting a hand on her back and getting ready to catch her.
