Yulia ate the last piece of cereal. "When did you last text her?"

"At least you're not busy all the time and don't come home for long periods of time like my brother does."

"He's in the army." She explained. "So he's gone a lot."

"He's leaving soon though, and coming to the US to become a citizen and stay get a place near here."

"Whenever that is, so much. I miss him." Her gay brother would make all the girls swoon, since he looked like Prince Adam aka the Beast. "In the army, there's no promise of you being done. You can wait for months to be with your loved ones and be told when you're all packed up that you have to stay." He only joined to prove he was a man to their father.

"Do you know when he's coming back?"

Aaron shook his head, "We don't know, we hope that'll he'll at least be back a few days when Thanksgiving or Christmas comes a long, it wouldn't be the same without him." he smiled softly "When we were younger we'd all get together and he would tell us scary stories and we'd have camp outs in our front yards."

"December 25th." he replied, tilting his head, "You follow the Russian Orthodox calendar?"

Aaron chuckled softly and nodded, "Yeah, it does seem a bit odd, but when you're raised that way it doesn't seem like it."
