Ava nodded. "Well its nice to know some guys do care about themselves. I know some who don't give a crap and just let themselves go" Ava said. "I think is good that you do what you do" Ava said. She nodded. "Alright thanks. My words don't come out right sometimes" she said

Richard nodded. "I know, I can't believe so many guys just let themselves go, it's really not that hard to go to a gym or just run for half an hour every day." he said with a shrug. "And don't worry about it. I can be very good at decoding what people want to say...sometimes."

Richard nodded as he observed it. He then started toward the shore of the lake. Brining down he searches through the sand and pebbles before a large flat rock like he wanted. He aided it up before throwing over the surface of the lake, skipping it at least 4 times. "I never knew this was back here."

Richard nodded as he repeated the process with another small rock. "It's a nice little lake." He said. "It would be a good place to come to study" he said while looking out after his rock that he threw.

"Yes it would be" Ava said tohim. She sat down on one of the bigger rocks. She knew they had said they would be friends but she wanted to kiss him or wanted him to kiss her.

Richard sighed as he picked up another rock. "do you know how to skip a rock?" he asked while looking back at Ava.

Ava nodded and picked on up. She let it skip ointo the water a few times. She smiling looking over at him..

Richard smiled. "So, you wanna have a competition for who can skip a rock the farthest?" He asked while bending down to pick up two more and handed one to Ava.

"GO!" richard shouted while tossing his rock across the lake. It skipped 5 times before making a loud plop in the water.

Ava tossed hers in the water. Hers made three. "You win" she said with a grin. "You are better than I am" she said to him. "I'm sure you have done this before" she said

RIchard laughed, "Nah, not better...just more experienced." he grinned. "And a little bit, yeah. Used to do it all the time with my brother." he said with a smile. He really liked Ava, he wasn't sure what made her different from other girls that he had met, but she was fairly easy to talk to. Something he really liked.

Ava laughed. "Well what I did with my brothers was hunt and fish. They liked camping to. The three of us used to go to this lake and campout every summer. My mom didn't like the outdoors but when the twins got 16, she let us go every where. She let us go camping and everything. She knew they would keep me safe" she said

Richard nodded, "I love camping. I used to go camping during the winter with my brother when I was in middle school. It was great." He said with a smile as he fell to sit on the shore of the lake. He took his shoes off and stuck them in the cool water. He patted the ground next to him, "come on, sit"

Ava went and sat next to him. She took her sandles off and put her feet in the water just like he did. "Maybe you could come with my brothers and I someday" she said. "I think they would like you amd you woukd like them" she said

Ava nodded. "I sure will" she said. "I don't know when we are supposed to go again. We haven't been since last summer" Ava said.
